Dark Horse - Two issues of Usagi Yojimbo this month!  It's such a great book and should have a lot more readers.  The Hellboy Double Feature of Evil one-shot and the fourth issue of Baltimore: Plague Ships are on the list.

DC - Hokey smokes...that's a lot of Batman.  I'm totally in for Batman, Inc., Batwoman, Batgirl, and Knight & Squire.  I'm trying Batman - The Dark Knight (Finch's book) along with the new teams on Batman and Detective.  Birds of Prey is still on the list.  I really liked Jeff Lemuire's Superboy preview in this week's Action, so it makes it.  Action, Superman (in Iowa this month...any chance gay marriage will be a topic?), and Supergirl continue.  JLA/The 99 - I applaud DC for publishing this during a weird time in American history.  Tiny Titans - Little Archie- Josie and the Pussycats...huzzah!  Holly requested Ratchet and Clank.  That last iZombie issue was great and I'm sticking with the floppies.  Unwritten and Madame Xanadu continue as trades for me.  Wasn't the big Superman vs. Muhammad Ali book supposed to come out this month?

IDW - The Last Unicorn for my sister.  Contining to dig Kill Shakespeare.

Image - My sister and brother-in-law are Chew fans, so the new trade goes on the list.  Slowing buying/reading/catching up with Walking Dead.

Marvel - Yay, Paul Tobin!  He has Spider-Girl (the former Arania) and the Marvel Adventures two-fer (Spider-Man and Super Heroes).  I'm down to two Bendis books - New Avengers and Scarlet.  I added Matt Fraction's Thor to the list last month and I'm continuing Thor-Mighty Avenger.  I've dropped Legacy (not a huge Rogue or Magneto fan), but am continuing Uncanny, X-Force, X-Men, and Namor.

Abstract - Terry Moore's Echo...only six or so issues left of this one.

Archie - Life with Archie - after one issue, it's my favorite monthly book on the market.  Picking up Archie, Archie & Friends, Betty, and Jughead for my girls and my local elementary library.

Boom! - Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Walt Disney's Comics, Mickey Mouse, Muppet Show, and Muppet Sherlock Holmes for my nieces and the library.

Titan - Torchwood

Viz - 20th Century Boys...love, love, love this book

Magazines - Doctor Who magazine

  • I've always liked Usagi Yojimbo, but I've never stuck with it for a long period of time. I will pick up a trade every once in a while. I too loved that last issue of iZombie,  it might be my favorite single issue of the year.

  • Using an amazing, simple idea...all paranormal creatures are explained...it was brilliant.
  • Here's mine:

    Mystic Comics Masterworks
    Sub-Mariner Masterworks Vol. 4
    "Quest for Odin" Premiere HC
    Doctor Spektor Archives Vol. 2
    Rip Kirby Vol. 3
    Family Circus Vol. 3
    Captain Easy Vol. 2
    Dark Shadows Vol. 2
  • DC:

That IS a lot of Bat-Titles! Twenty Three all together, not counting any JLA or guest shots. Do we need Batman: The Dark Knight as well as Detective, Streets, & Robin and Confidential ? Will and can there be any internal structure and cohesion? It could lead to a Bat-overload. And which Batman will be in which book? If one book has no link with the other titles and goes its own way, will that attract or drive off readers?

Superboy #1--not familar with creators--may be iffy!

Teen Titans #89--Can Damien Wayne play nice with others? What do you think?

DCU: Legacies #7--Death of Superman/Crippling of Batman---how will events change?

    Nightmaster #1---only took 40 years!!!!

THUNDER Agents #1 ----Yeah, not the real Agents and they're ripping off Strikeforce: Morituri! Still looks generic!

    Marvel:

Astonishing Thor--Great, another Thor series! Try spacing them out!

Spider-Girl--not Mayday Parker, so don't care!

Osborn---don't want it but will it be important?

Avengers#7--Red Hulk joins! What could go wrong?

    Ant-Man & the Wasp mini--probably silly but can't resist

Chaos War--too many side-minis and one shots. ChW: Dead Avengers--Deathcry! Doctor Druid! Yellowjacket II!--talk about the bottom of the barrel! But it does say how many "dead" members returned. Captain Mar-Vell (not even a real Avenger and fool me once...), the Vision (even an android can die and come back....again) and the Swordsman (longest lasting deceased Avenger & a sentimental favorite) are my reasons for getting this!

Shadowland --can Daredevil be viable after this?

Thunderstrike---and where's Beta Ray Bill and Thor Girl's series, while they're at it!

Warriors Three---Not Fair! And Bill Willingham's writing?? Double Not Fair!!

Too many Iron Man, Captain America and Punisher minis!! And way too much Deadpool!
