"Bad Luck Brannigan, a wrestler working for a crooked promoter, uses the 'paralyzer' to cripple opponents. Clark Kent discovers the promoter has imprisoned an immigrant dubbed the 'Swami' who has extensive knowledge of the body's pressure points. In his Superman identity, Clark sees the immigrant. The Swami instructs Superman in his techniques. As Clark, he then teaches a college wrestler – who has publicly challenged Brannigan – how to counter the 'paralyzer'. Guest Stars:Dick Reeves as Bad Luck Brannigan, Tito Renaldo as Ramm, Malcolm Mealey as Wayne, Henry Kulky (a former wrestler in real life) as Crusher (uncredited), Dick Elliott as Sam Bleaker, Karl Davis as Adonis (uncredited), Herb Vigran as Murray, Bill Kennedy as TV announcer (uncredited)."
You'll recognize Dick Reeves from multiple "Three Stooges" shorts as a gangster; Henry Kulky played Chief Curley Jones in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
Brock Lesnar/Oba Femi Wrestlemania Match I guessed who would go over in this. I didn't guess what would happen afterwards. I guess that he wanted it to go to someone that could believasbly match hiim for size and power. I guess we don't get the Gunther match, then,
Post WrestleMania releases have started, and include Nikki Cross, Alba Fyre, Zoey Stark, Joe Gacy, Uncle Howdy and Andre Chase, with more said to be coming. That has to be pretty much it for the Wyatt Sicks, doesn't it?
Updated List of Releases Additional releases include Aleister Black, Apollo Crews, Dante Chen, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Kairi Sane and Zelina Vega,. The only real surprise to me is Sane, since they seemed to be in the middle of a big storyline with her.
Today they announced Iyo Sky vs Asuka at Backlash in two weeks despite the fact that the main cause of their feud, Kairi Sane was released last Friday and is said to be back in Japan already!
Unless it's a massive swerve!
And that the match should have been on Wrestlemania!

To be honest, Kairi Sane was the only one of the released wrestlers that I cared about either way. They could at least have given her story closure and then let her go.
I"m hearing scuttlebutt that Kairi had been expressing interest in returning to Japan for a while now (which she has done), which is why she was released. No news on why they didn't pay out her storyline first.

Black is the second wrestler who left WWE for AEW, got disillusioned there and returned to WWE, only to be released fairly quickly after Andrade!
Makes you worry about Rusev and Paige!
In the territory days, there'd be places for wrestlers to go. Nowadays, there's only TKO or Tony.
