I’m enjoy this this as much as any (and more than most) of “The New 52” but it suffers from rotating artists syndrome: three artists in three months: Kieth Giffen, Tom Grummett, Jim Starlin. All of them are fine artists and any of them would be good on this title, but it needs consistency. For my own part, I bought the first issue for Giffen’s Kirbyesque style, and that’s what I’d like to see return for good.

Kirby's series focused on the Forever People, and Infinity Man got lost in the shuffle. This new series (as the title suggests) focuses on Infinity Man.

  • I picked up the first two issues of this, but the third one slipped past me this week. Given that issues 4 and 5 are a Green Lantern crossover -- and that I was also picking it up mostly for Giffen's art -- I might just skip it for now.

  • I was sent a review copy, but it didn't arrive until yesterday, so I haven't read it yet!

  • I have yet to read mine as well. I do wonder about the inconsistency in the art. At least they're getting people who have drawn these characters before!
