Story This happened about a month-and-a-half ago, but I just heard about it just now. You gotta give him credit, he built a career out of what was essentially one joke that wasn't inherently all that funny, but he made it work for him.

So help me, I saw that dude every week on The Redd Foxx Comedy Hour -- a show Foxx launched on ABC back in 1977 after he had a falling out with NBC over Sanford and Son. I saw him do that bit so many times I have it committed to memory. If you don't, here's a representative sample:
