  • "So, Apparently, This is a Thing That's Happening"

    Not on Earth-J it's not.

"Bets as to how long this will last?"

About as long as Tony stark/Patsy Walker did.

  • I guess that Scott and Jean only wanted threesomes with Logan, not Emma!

But yeah, Emma kills him, six months tops. Right after he changes his will!

  • And then, inexplicably, Avengers Mansion is haunted by the Ghost of Bill Malloy, singing "What Shall We Do With the Drunken Sailor?".

Maybe Jean wanted a threesome with Scott and Logan, but I'm sure Scott would have preferred one with Jean and Emma.

  • I was half-convinced that I was mistaken, and Tony/Patsy wasn't really a thing.  It did not last too long, did it?

  • "Not on Earth-J it's not."

OTOH, I can't think of two people who deserve each other more.

  • Speculation I've seen elsewhere is that it's a marriage of convenience so he can get Krakoan citizenship, although why he'd want or need that, I don't know.

  • If it is a convenience marriage, then it might connect to the current sort-of-shared character Feilong, who has recently been a major nemesis for Stark but started as an enemy of the X-Men and a rival claimant of Mars (Arakko).

  • I'm still mad about the Feilong-on-Mars thing. They could have ejected him easily when he arrived, could still deny his Martian claim (by force, if necessary), could just blow Phobos up (neither Martian moon will survive the millennium anyway), but they do not, solely due to writer's fiat. And one of the people who was present when Feilong arrived was Sunfire, who was ridiculously cautious and inhibited. SUNFIRE? Geez.

As to Tony and Emma, I predict a long, happy, contented union, living on a farm somewhere, raising lots of kids and chickens.

  • Talk about plot twists, Captain!
