Star Trek: Enterprise (Seasons One-Three)

I so wanted to like Star Trek: Enterprise, but I nevertheless found it (the first three seasons, anyway) to be a big disappointment. Yet it's one of Tracy's favorites of the franchise. But she didn't grow up on reruns of TOS the way I did; the series just wasn't "Star Trek" to me... until the last season, that is, but by then it was a case of "too little, too late."  In addition, I think it got off to a bad start. Not since Jean Luc Picard surrendered the Enterprise (D) 19 minutes into "Encounter at Farpoint" had a Star trek spin-off gotten off to a worse start. I have a theory. The movie Star Trek VIII gave us "First Contact" (April 5, 2063), but "Broken Bow" takes place 88 years later, and humanity is still being held back by the Vulcans. I think ENT would be a better series without the first episode.

To that end, I have decided to re-watch the series starting with the second episode. But I can't very well re-watch it without Tracy, and she's not going to want to watch it without seeing "Broken Bow" first. So, I told her my idea and she's game. We watched "Broken Bow" together, then, after enough time has passed, we will begin watching the first three seasons in order. Here's all you need to know...

T-Pol is the Science Officer

Charles "Trip" Tucker III is the Chief Engineer
