- Dang it. I lost my list of miniseries I had. Which is invaluable for the ones that aren't monthly.
- I LOVE that Dark Horse and Image are putting out $1 comic book samplers. There really should be somethign for everybody.
- The Terminator 1984 miniseries seems, superfluous. Another dude follows Kyle Reese through the portal to execute his own mission. Dark Horse's best Terminator series took place outside of the movies.
- All of the big crossovers from DC and Marvel are saving me money now that I don't collect them
- DC is putting out 5 war comic one-shots, and I am a fan of war comics, but $3.99 isn't a price I wanna pay. I'll probably be able to pick these up on the cheap a couple of months down the road.
- We are really going to see if you can "go home again" with the New Teen Titans: Games graphic novel. I'm in.
- George Perez on the Titans graphic novel and DC Legacies? Awesome
- If I had paid attention and realized that First Wave was bimonthly I would have gone the trade route.
- Lobo is going to be in REBELS? Uh-oh. That instantly goes on a shorter leash for me.
- Hey a new JSA special...featuring Magog. Blah. Pass.
- Neither IDW nor Dynamite has a single comic below $3.99
- A Science Dog Special!!!! I am so happy I think I poo'd myself a little.
- I wonder how well all of those video game adaptations sell.
- Deadpool comic count this month: 4. Better than the 7 from a month or so ago.
- Did they just ruin One Moment In Time for me?
- No artist listed for Secret Avengers but we know who is doing the cover, and the 2 variants.
- Captain America: Patriot is a perfect example of a series I am marginally interested in, but the price point drives me away.
- I'm not picking up any of the Shadowland spinoffs. Although the Thunderbolts one really piques my interest.
- I many not be buying Franken-Castle, but putting Dan Brereton on the art was a genius move.
- Looks like Thor is getting a push now. 4 solo series this month. I don't know how many Avengers comics he is in. It looks like at least 1.
- I am on board to check out Moonstone's Return of the Originals, their own resurrection of the pulp heroes. I really like the $1.99 comic with origins.
- Eriq Lasalle from ER is writing a comic? Wow. And the premise interested me enough to pick it up.
- I'm surprised to see those Crumb t-shirts. He doesn't usually do that kind of thing.
- The Astonishing X-Men DVD looks pretty darn cool.

I wonder if the JSA Special is tying up the loose ends from the Magog series that no one bought?
IDW hasn't had a comic below $3.99 since before I opened, I think. Indies are always at the forefront of higher prices, since they get crappier deals at the printers.
Franken-Castle is awesome!
Is Thor the new Deadpool? Or is he the new Wolverine?
I've been dis-impressed with Moonstone's comics quality, and none of my customers ever buy any of them, so pass.

Check out the Secret Headquarters (my store) website! It's much better now!
Listen to WOXY.com, it's the future of rock-n-roll!
"Captain America: Patriot" is the sort of book I like. I just hope it's worth the price.
"First Wave" being bi-monthly makes "Doc Savage" the main book of this line.
How can Magog, so interesting in "Kingdom Come", be so boring? I know! No contact with Superman who he should want to replace!
Let's see where this story goes.
George RR Martin's Wild Cards:The Hard Call HC
YES! At last! Thank you Dynamite for refreshing my faith in GOOD comics. Can hardly wait to see the new story.
Dark Tower:The Gunslinger-The Journey Begins #5 of 5
FINALLY! Once this issue is bagged & backed, I'm done with Marvel. I can only hope my 'friend' appreciates all this crap I've done for her.
Is anybody at all interested in this character outside of the Kingdom Come storyline?
Anybody?
(crickets...)
It's just a sequel to Kingdom Come where the KC Superman is killed by Magog! Or rather a demented religious type who models himself on Magog. So where did the KC Superman that was in the JSA storyline of 2 years ago come from?
Did he travel back during the nuclear explosion at the end of KC?
It was a terrifically badly advised story. At the end he travels back in time to the 90's DCU to keep killing Superman. Did that character appear again in the mainstream Superman titles?
"Phoooo-EEEEE!!", as Homer Simpson once pithily remarked.
I'd like to read them again because apparently there is something about hypertime in there. Otherwise its not such a great series. Very weak follow-up to the excellent Kingdom Come. It's one of my many comics still back at my parents house. It looks like a narrative set-up that they gave up on before it really took off..
Your comment a few days ago about Plastic Man's son being the star of his comics in the 60's made me think of The Kingdom btw, as Plas's son is the star of one of the comics.
I didn't dig out the New Year's Evil comic, so I'd misremembered the name. It was Gog rather than Magog, and the Gog of Earth 22 (Kingdom Come Earth) at that. It's complicated.
And not only is there something about Hypertime in them -- these are the comics that introduced Hypertime, right? I can't recall a lot of other places it was used (although I think there was a Superboy arc that touched on it).
