Baby Bean got an Easter basket yesterday from her "Aunt" M. The one item missing from it that she wanted was a chocolate bunny. This morning, I got (half-price!) her this one:
I was immediately attracted to the clever marketing gimmick of having the ears stick out of the box by 3 inches. Of course, there are 5 inches of empty box below it.
I know that the ears-to-body ratio has increased over the years, sometimes to the point that the bunnies are 3/4 ears. One of the morning news shows on Sunday mentioned that 75% of people eat the ears first. (Get to the point already, Dagwan!)
Has anyone ever marketed just a pair of chocolate bunny ears for Easter? If not, I think there's some marketing potential there.
