AMC is rebroadcating The Walking Dead tonight and tomorrow for those who haven't seen it or want to see it again, though don't watch it while having dinner!
PBS is airing Pioneers of Television featuring early science fiction shows which should be interesting.

Strangely enough, we pretty much always watched it during dinner.
Then again, back when we watched House, new episodes were reserved for spaghetti night.
The Pioneers episode focused on Star Trek, The Twilight Zone and...Lost In Space!! That show was a kid's dreamworld! The Jupiter 2 had all the candy! Laser guns, the Chariot, the Pod, the jet-pack, space chimps, Zorro-as-Dad, that awesome Robot and....Judy Robinson!
What more could you want?
I have yet to see an interview with Bill Mumy where I didn't think "What an interesting and level-headed guy." He doesn't have any illusions about the earth-shattering cultural significance of the genre work he's done, but he isn't disparaging about or disdainful of it, either. I would love to see or read an interview with him done by a truly good interviewer. (Bob Costas would be ideal.)
Mumy had interesting things to say about Jonathan Harris, in particular, and certainly seemed fond of him. He did a pretty good Harris impersonation, too.
He was certainly fonder of Jonathan Harris than the other cast members, but I always liked Doctor Smith, though selfish and self-centered, he did appear to care about the Robinsons, in his own way!
It was what Bill Mumy said about Harris' background from a poor enviroment and how he recreated himself that was really interesting!
Exactly!
