As I expected, I finished Tatsumi's A Drifting Life at lunch...actually got caught up in it and came back a few minutes late.

I just finished Trinity Book 2... I've just been burning through it. Volume 3 is in the mail, on its way to me.

How does it read in trade form Rob? Is the backup collected as well?

What did you think of the JSA 80-Page Giant, Baron?

Meh.

Just read the first three issues of The Invisibles. But I finished Scalped. Wow, a lot happens in this collection. History revealed, mysteries solved, and several likely plot lines set up.

Oh yeah, I read Scalped a couple of weeks ago, and man that was great.

I've read Batman: Unseen #3 and #4, Doug Moench and Kelley Jones' take on the Invisible Man as Batman foe. While I'm surprised Batman hasn't just got out the spray paint, I'm in no hurry for this to wrap given it's so stylish, creepy, witty and great looking. The only thing I'd change would be the Batman narrative captions, which are in titchy script.
Just read Vol. 1 of Tim Truman's Scout. To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with the story. Tim Truman's art is great, as always. Tom Yeates art in issue 7 was also a pleasant surprise. I love that guys art! He is what makes the first 12 issues of Saga of the Swamp Thing bearable IMO. Super-heavy text in that issue also. They don't make 'em like that anymore, kids!

I read alot of good reviews and rumors about Scout but it didn't really entertain me like I thought it would. I guess I'm just gettin' old! Oh well.
My reading this morning was not matched to the holiday. The first two issues of "Black Science 2" in The Invisibles, and the beginning of The Marquis: Inferno, the new collection of Guy Davis's series.
