Johnny Witts? We've recently seen what happened to Roy Reynolds, the Getaway Genius, but has anything been done with Johnny Witts Post-Crisis/Zero Hour/Superboy's Fists?

Johnny Witts was one of several villains to come out of the New Look era of Batman stories. His particular shtick was that he was always two steps ahead of Batman--or so he thought. He never wore any sort of gaudy costume--he just attempted to out think Batman and Robin and defeat them that way.
And since you asked, Roy Reynolds the Getaway Genius showed up around the same time. Unsurprisingly, his forté was planning escapes. He never wanted to tangle with Batman and Robin, simply escape from them, making him one of the smartest of Batman's rogues gallery, in my opinion.
Roy Reynolds, the Getaway Genius I remember, and his schtick is something just waiting for a good writer to pick up on. It's so good, you would think more writers would want that challenge. He's certainly smarter than the Riddler, who does the opposite, going out of his way to sow the seeds of his capture.

I liked the Getaway Genius too. I think he's a reworking of a Pow Wow Smith villain called the Fadeaway Outlaw, who appeared in stories cover-featured on Western Comics#62 and #73. The stories were edited by Julie Schwartz and written by Gardner Fox, as was Getaway's debut.

But nothing stays away forever in comics.
He'll probably come back as a 21st century satanist or something...
