  • His Star Trek episode, “The Man Trap,” was the first episode of the series to be seen on television. Among his Twilight Zone episodes is one of my favorites, "Nothing in the Dark," which featured an early performance by Robert Redford.

  • "Man Trap" was the one with the salt vampire, right?

  • I love his Twilight Zone episodes: those alone would be enough to establish his reputation for me. I had no idea about Logan's Run and the Star Trek episode. Shame he didn't write more of them.
