X-Men 97 - A good piece of work!

I just started watching X-Men 97 and I really liked the first episode. Sounds as if they got the original voice actors back (what's 27 years, right? :) and I liked the animation. Story was tight, complete, and entertaining. I recommend this.

But I have one question that you all might be able to help me with. In the Special Thanks section, they list a vast majority of talent that worked on the X-Men comics; it's an impressive list. But one of those listed is John Romita Sr. The Silver Age Fogey memory banks can't make any association between him and the X-Men except maybe an occasional cover. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Thanks and I hope you enjoy the show!

  • Romita designed Wolverine (and, as art director, probably made other behind-the-scenes contributions as well).

    A new X-Men '97 #1 (of 4) comic book shipped last week.
