"Something else just occurred to me. If you're a fan of Claremont/Byrne era X-Men, the first volume of John Byrne's Elsewhen (an alternate post-Phoenix Saga reality) is slated for release June 23. A link to online, uninked pencils for 32 issues…"
"I can second the recommendation for Batman and Robin: Year One. It's a joy. Also, The Veracity Trap is great. And I've enjoyed the one issue of Assorted Crisis Events I've read. But if you're looking for one last Legion story for the road, they're…"
" "Something intriguing to go out on," eh?
For DC, I'm enjoying Supergirl and Superboy (Action Comics). You might also enjoy the recently-completed Batman & Robin: Year One by Mark Waid and Chris Samnee.

All I can say is "Aw, damn!" For weeks now, I've been meaning to state in a comment to one of my Deck Log articles how much I appreciate your unflagging support and your incisive commentary on my column. I kept putting it off because I never found the right place, or was too busy to add a comment, or any of the hundred of things we put off doing stuff we should.
Of all the members of this board, you were my most loyal reader, and compliment or criticism or just plain commentary, I always looked forward to seeing you post a comment. You're one of the Silver-Age experts who kept me on my toes.
So I shall miss your presence here, probably more than most. But it's your decision, friend. I don't stand in your shoes. Each of us has to determine what is right for himself and then act accordingly. I'd prefer you stay, but if you feel you have to go, then go with my blessing. And my regrets.
