Justice League Intergalactic Special #1 variant cover art by Dan Mora

This June, DC proudly celebrates LGBTQIA+ fans and characters with DC Pride 2026, a coordinated publishing initiative that spotlights DC’s YA graphic novels, comics from DC’s mainline continuity, and a new Justice League event series. As with every year, DC Pride highlights the queer heroes who inspire readers year-round, and in 2026 their stories take center stage across multiple formats.

“The DC Pride priorities have always been to spotlight queer characters, serve as a launchpad for new, year-round DC storytelling, and celebrate our roster of incredible talent,” said DC editor Andrea Shea. “And in so many ways, 2026 is the culmination of the last five years—what we’ve always been building toward: a series of stories that take place in the heart of DC continuity and serve as the next chapters for some of our most beloved characters.”

Anchoring this year’s celebration are Galaxy and Dreamer, two heroes whose journeys have been building across DC’s publishing lines for years. Their stories unfold in three interconnected releases that bridge both DC’s comics and graphic novels, culminating in a major narrative moment for Pride Month and beyond.

Galaxy: As the World Falls Down

    On sale 5/5/26

31127441476?profile=RESIZE_400x31127442085?profile=RESIZE_400xGalaxy: As the World Falls Down cover by Rye Hickman

Galaxy returns in Galaxy: As the World Falls Down, the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed YA graphic novel Galaxy: The Prettiest Star. Written by Jadzia Axelrod with art and color by Rye Hickman and lettering by Jodie Troutman, this new graphic novel continues Taylor Barzelay’s journey as she confronts the alien threat of the Vane, questions her place on Earth, and further solidifies her friendship with Nia Nal, also known as Dreamer.

“Galaxy: As the World Falls Down is about what comes next after coming out,” said Axelrod. “It’s about being a teenage superhero while also being trans and queer, feeling anxiety about life after high school while making sure the world doesn’t end, and what to do when a powerful empire wants you dead.”

Critics praised Galaxy: The Prettiest Star as “bright and full of hope” (The Queer Review) and “glowing with the force of the universe” (AIPT). School Library Journal’s starred review called The Prettiest Star “an effervescent and poignant tale about discovering and embracing your truest self against all odds,” while Publishers Weekly’s starred review shared that The Prettiest Star is a “hilarious and gorgeously illustrated narrative featuring queer romance, talking dogs, and a galaxy of the prettiest stars.” With As the World Falls Down, Axelrod and Hickman deepen Taylor’s emotional arc, and her heroic journey, all while expanding the YA corner of the DC Universe.

Justice League Intergalactic Special #1 variant covers

Before Galaxy’s sophomore graphic novel arrives, readers will finally see Galaxy and Dreamer team up for the first time in DC’s mainline comic book universe in Justice League Intergalactic Special #1, co-written by Jadzia Axelrod and Nicole Maines with art by Travis Moore, colors by Tamra Bonvillain, and lettering by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. This one-shot continues Dreamer’s journey following the events of Absolute Power and Secret Six, and picks up on Galaxy’s adventures in heroism following her recurring role in Hawkgirl. Galaxy is now a card-carrying member of the Justice League, bridging DC’s YA and mainline universes.

In this adventure, the planet Naltor and the Green Lanterns who protect it fall under the spell of the Witch Queen, who harnesses the world’s dream energy in a bid to expand her reach far beyond its orbit. Star Sapphire assembles a team of Justice Leaguers to liberate the planet, but the mission quickly spirals. Green Arrow wants nothing to do with space, Adam Strange’s ship is attacked before it even reaches orbit…and Galaxy has invited Dreamer aboard the mission without telling anyone. Dreamer’s visions hint at disaster from the very start!

When they find each other, Galaxy and Dreamer are on completely opposite ends of the Super Hero spectrum. While Galaxy has been welcomed into the Justice League where she’s a shining new up-and-comer, Dreamer is left adrift in the aftermath of the mistakes that have branded her (as far as the League is concerned) a criminal…

“The beauty of this team-up is that Dreamer’s and Galaxy’s lives have gone in such different directions,” said Axelrod. “Galaxy is a respected member of the Justice League, but her JL teammates see Dreamer as a war criminal. Can their friendship survive their increasingly divergent perspectives? You’d have to be really good friends to weather that. You’d have to be the best friends in the universe.”

Justice League: Dream Girls – A DC Pride Event

    A four-issue miniseries launching June 2026

    31127441298?profile=RESIZE_192X31127442667?profile=RESIZE_192X

Justice League: Dream Girls – A DC Pride Event #1 and #2 main covers by Brandt&Stein

Debuting during Pride Month, Justice League: Dream Girls – A DC Pride Event is a four-issue DC All In miniseries co-written by Nicole Maines and Jadzia Axelrod with art from Nicola Scott, J. Bone, Brandt&Stein, Stephen Sadowski, Vincent Cecil, Mikel Janín, Rosi Kämpe, and others. The story begins in the aftermath of Justice League Intergalactic Special, when Dreamer and Galaxy suddenly awaken on Themyscira, living out an idyllic fantasy as princess and champion of the Amazons. Their confusion deepens when a mysterious stranger washes ashore insisting that Dreamer must leave the paradise she’s always dreamed of to save the world, and the dreamlike landscape around them begins to shift in ways that feel both familiar and deeply wrong.

    31127442878?profile=RESIZE_192X31127442890?profile=RESIZE_192X

Justice League: Dream Girls – A DC Pride Event #3 and #4 main covers by Brandt&Stein

The threat behind the shifting dreamscape is the Key, a long-standing Justice League adversary whose ability to manipulate perception and hunger for control over dreamspace make him a uniquely dangerous opponent for Dreamer. The world he’s building offers her a version of heroism that feels easier to embrace than the imperfect reality she left behind, and Dreamer fears that those imperfections are all she is…whereas Galaxy, eager to prove herself to the League, believes she can keep her imperfections hidden.

In this series, Dreamer is battling, in many ways, her will to go on. With being a hero, with life at all. She’s nothing like the hero she set out to be, and after everything, she (ironically) can’t see a future for herself. So, she needs her closest friend to remind her, even if Dreamer didn’t exactly ask for her help. As the Key tightens his hold, Galaxy fights her way through the dreamworld to pull her friend back from the brink. Her ability to see through the Key’s illusions makes her a threat he’s desperate to expel. The series blends cosmic action, emotional stakes, and a story about identity, legacy, and the strength of a friendship tested by forces determined to tear it apart. Dream Girls represents the next step in DC’s Pride publishing, bringing LGBTQIA+ heroes into the center of a major, continuity-driven Justice League story that unfolds across the month of June.

    Bonus Stories Featuring Fan-Favorite Heroes

Each issue of Justice League: Dream Girls – A DC Pride Event also includes an all-new eight-page story that expands the event’s scope. Greg Rucka and Claire Roe showcase Batwoman in a new story in Dream Girls #1 on June 3, Morgan Hampton and Steven Underwood team with Alitha Martinez for a Green Lantern Corps story in Dream Girls #2 on June 10, and G. Willow Wilson and Maria Llovet spotlight Poison Ivy in Dream Girls #3 on June 17. A personal story by Klaus Janson will appear in Dream Girls #4 on June 24, with details to be revealed soon.

A Story Years in the Making

“It’s a known fact I like to break my toys,” Maines joked, reflecting on the emotional challenges she’s put Dreamer through throughout the mainline DC continuity. “This journey she’s been on started way back during the Beast World event and has been building up to this moment of reckoning for a long time. I’m excited because across Intergalactic Special and Dream Girls we can deliver a lot of the nuance and grit that we’re not always afforded the ability or space to explore with our queer characters.”

“Galaxy’s journey has always been about the struggle to define yourself. Each moment of joy and euphoria is paid for by the hard work of claiming your queer and trans identity in a world that would rather you go back in the closet,” said Axelrod. “What Nicole and I did with Dream Girls is place Galaxy and Dreamer in scenarios where that isn’t so: the Key offers them everything they’ve ever wanted, with no effort or difficulty. How does Galaxy handle a life without struggle? Not well, it turns out.”

“DC Pride has evolved into an all-new format thanks to the long-term storytelling and character building that Jadzia, Nicole, and their peers have been doing for years, and the enthusiasm of our incredible fans,” said Shea. “These stories are woven into the very fabric of the DC Universe. It’s such a joy to take this next step with these two amazing characters at the forefront, flanked by DC Pride’s pantheon new and old.”

Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment is proud to announce the first entry in a curated line of Compact Editions, offering some of the most revered storylines by fans and critics in an unbeatably affordable format perfect for new readers, sharing the medium, and those looking to try them out. It all starts this June with the debut of Pathfinder: Dark Waters Rising.

This book features a whopping 224 pages of epic adventure and is offered for just $9.99 from US retailers at a 5.5 by 8.5 inches format. It collects issues #1-6 of Dynamite's initial Pathfinder series from 2012, plus a bonus 10-page story "The Last Mosswood Goblin" and over 30 pages of worldbuilding details to both enhance the story and assist in playing the titular tabletop roleplaying game.

Bestselling author Jim Zub drives these journeys, well established for his fabulous fantasy in titles like Conan the Barbarian, Skullkickers, Wayward, and an extensive bibliography at Marvel Comics. He's joined by artists including Andrew Huerta.

NEW SUPERVILLAIN SPORE SPREADS TERROR, AUNT MAY DROPS A BOMBSHELL AND MORE IN THE LEADUP TO AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000!

Learn about AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #30-31 by Joe Kelly, Pete Woods and Patrick Gleason.

On sale in June, both issues are pivotal chapters in the lead up to AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000 this fall.

31127448288?profile=RESIZE_192X31127448299?profile=RESIZE_192XNew York, NY— March 19, 2026 — The 1000th issue of Amazing Spider-Man arrives in September, and the lead up to the monumental milestone has already begun! Joe Kelly’s hit run with artists Pepe Larraz, John Romita Jr. and more has been heating up since Peter Parker returned from his cosmic adventures in “Death Spiral,” a new crossover with Venom that kicked off earlier this month. Today, fans can peek ahead at what awaits on the other side of this bloody affair with the reveal of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #30-31, hitting stands in June.

In AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #30, Kelly and guest artist Pete Woods continue to introduce the newest member of Spidey’s rogues gallery. One of Spider-Man’s oldest friends was caught in a terrible accident – and Peter Parker is to blame! Don’t miss SPIDEY VS. SPORE! But should Peter even BE fighting in a tragedy of his own making?! And learn the answers to an earth-shattering riddle from the battle with Torment in “Death Spiral”!

On creating Spore, Kelly said, “From the beginning of my run, Nick [Lowe] and I talked about a new villain that harkened back to early Amazing Spider-Man classics. Someone with science based powers, caused by a lab accident, etc. But rather than give this villain an excuse to hate Spider-Man, they would be decided anti-Peter Parker. Enter Brian Nehring, who not only has a complex childhood past with Peter, but also blames him for the accident that transforms him into Spore! Pete Woods did an amazing job on his design- creepy and modern. He’s a sick puppy… Brian, not Pete… maybe Pete.”

Then in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #31, Patrick Gleason joins Kelly for “THE TALK.” Just in time for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000, Peter Parker’s world is turned upside down with one of the biggest reveals in Spider-Man history. Don’t miss this pivotal story that leads directly into AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1000 and beyond!

On what fans can expect from the revelatory issue, Kelly shared, “There is so much to say about this issue… it’s heartbreaking, for one. Some of the most honest and emotional stuff we’ve done. Pat Gleason delivers a powerhouse performance and captures everything I’d hoped for. It’s also one of those times where you can honestly say ‘this changes everything.’ A family secret comes to light that rocks Peter and May to foundation of their relationship. It’s huge and has ramifications well past issue #1000. I try not to oversell these sort of moments… but this is the big one.”

Red Hulk, is determined to enact revenge on Latveria, and his actions have dire repercussions, both for Captain America and the world. After S.H.I.E.L.D.’s campaign in Latveria meets a brutal and violent end, Captain America finds himself in the last place he expected to be, alongside the last person he expected to see again. • UPCOMING GEHENNA IN TOKYO ONE-SHOT A STANDALONE ADVENTURE SET IN THE WORLD OF GEHENNA: NAKED AGGRESSION OUT THIS JUNE

31127436865?profile=RESIZE_192X31127437057?profile=RESIZE_192XPORTLAND, Ore. 03/20/2026 — Fan favorite co-creators Patrick Kindlon (Frontiersman) and Marco Ferrari (Scarlet) team up with mangaka Atsuji Yamamoto (Metal Max, X-Men) for an all-new adventure in Gehenna in Tokyo. This exciting one-shot tale is set in the same world as Kindlon and Ferrari’s Gehenna: Naked Aggression and will hit shelves in June from Image Comics.

This action-packed issue will feature variant covers by Samaru, Autumn Bellflower, Pass, Maurizio Rosenzweig, and Zawayuki as well as a stunning wraparound cover by Ferrari and a NSFW version of the Zawayuki cover.

In Gehenna in Tokyo, Gehenna travels to Japan to end the Yakuza contract on her life. But she finds they do business a little differently in the Land of the Rising Sun.

“Gehenna in Tokyo gave us the chance to expand the world of Gehenna without losing what makes her feel like herself," said Ferrari. "It is violent, strange, and full of energy. For me, having Atsuji Yamamoto on the book was a real honor. He is one of those artists whose work carries weight, and seeing him step into this world was genuinely special.”

Kindlon added: "Atsuji’s hallmark sexy-violence has been an influence on my work for some time now. Collaborating with him is a real joy and it shows on the page. I promise you the most fun you can have with paper."

Gehenna In Tokyo (one-shot) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, June 10.

ALTERED STATES: WARLORDS David Avallone Crafts

    Multiversal Magic With Classic Characters!

31127438062?profile=RESIZE_400xMarch 19, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment announces a mind-bending, multiversal masterpiece starting this June, as Altered States: Warlords brings together some of the publisher's biggest stars for a crossover epic by David Avallone (Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Bettie Page) and Mariano Benitez-Chapo.

Welcome to Altered States... Dynamite Entertainment's daring take on parallel realities, alternate tales, and unexpected outcomes in the vein of beloved brands like What If? and Elseworlds. Avallone and company are ready to ramp things up for readers with the most ambitious story in the line to date!

Red Sonja, the She-Devil of Hyrkania, suddenly finds herself far away from the familiar Hyborean lands — transported to the ruby sands of Barsoom, or as Earth-readers know it, Mars. What follows will set up events that ripple across time and space, drawing in additional legendary heroes from all across the galaxy.

John Carter and Dejah Thoris, known as veritable Warlords of Mars, will expectedly leave their mark in this story. Meanwhile, another beloved Edgar Rice Burroughs icon in Tarzan, the Lord of the Jungle comes directly from Earth into this tale. Last but certainly not least, a native of the mysterious planet Drakulon will join the fray — Vampirella!

"[Editor] Joe Rybandt asked me if I’d be interested in doing an Altered States series using Dynamite characters, all centered around Barsoom – the Mars of Edgar Rice Burroughs. That sounded like a whole lot of fun, and right up my alley," said writer David Avallone. "My first thought was ‘Red Sonja: Warlord of Mars.’ Red knocks over the first domino, so to speak, challenging the cult of the Holy Therns at its founding, and setting off a whole alternative timeline where John Carter isn’t the first human from Earth to reach Barsoom… with seismic repercussions for Martian culture, religion, and society. Naturally the Therns, and their goddess Issus, are none too happy about that. Over the course of the series we’ll see how that affects Carter’s arrival and reception, and new adventures with Edgar Rice Burroughs' jungle lord Tarzan and a mysterious princess from the planet Drakulon — you know her as Vampirella — as they all find their way to the Red Planet."

Writer David Avallone is renowned for his seamless voices for wise-cracking heroines like Elvira and Bettie Page, as well as a pulse for pulp. He reunites for Altered States: Warlords with rising star artist Mariano Benitez-Chapo. The Argentinian-turned-Philadelphian grad of The Kubert School is stepping up for his biggest project yet, following a string of Savage Tales specials with Avallone.

The series is complemented with a range of gorgeous variant covers pulled from across the worlds of Altered States. Superstars Joseph Michael Linsner and Mike Rooth wow with covers showcasing the She-Devil in the first issue, with other characters to follow. Benitez-Chapo contributes covers on each issue, all designed to connect with each other. Note that final covers for subsequent issues will be in full color, his stunning pencil and ink work is being showcased, and variants will also be available presenting his work in that manner. Cosplayer Jackie Goehner features on a photo cover, complete with an impressive axe.

The first issue will also be available through a mystery blind bag release. This offering includes three separate versions of the issue, pulled randomly from a range of virgin, lineart, and other premium books for collectors.

Vampirella Archives Paperbacks Bring Sizzling Sixth Volume in Hit Affordable Line!

31127439281?profile=RESIZE_192XMarch 19, Mt. Laurel, NJ: Dynamite Entertainment is bringing another hotly anticipated release to the shelves of retailers and fans this June, ready to heat up the summer, as Vampirella Archives Volume 6 adds to the new line of paperbacks reprinting the icon's original era.

This sizzling sixth entry reprints issues #36-42 of the Vampirella magazine  produced originally by Warren Publishing. These stories were originally released from fall 1974 through spring 1975.

This book and its five former volumes can be picked up in any order by readers, with their largely anthology format. Each issue is stuffed full of multiple stories from horror, sci-fi, and fantasy, and the cherry on top is the continuing adventures of the Daughter of Drakulon. The preceding fabulous fifth book kicked off the run on Vampi's tales by writer Flaxman Loew, the first appearance of her feline frenemy Pantha, as well as a concentration of work by the legend Jeffrey Catherine Jones.

For the sixth book in the batting order, fans can delight to more gorgeous Vampirella artwork by her definitive creator of the era, Jose Gonzalez, as always. Though more than perhaps any other volume, the majority of the Drakulonian's stories here feature different artists offering a novel look, including Leopold Sanchez and Jose Ortiz. Writer Flaxman Loew's core run comes to a close here, with Bill DuBay set to replace him next volume. A real treat for fans here is "She Who Waits!" from #37 with a return of Archie Goodwin alongside Gonzalez, and presented in full color!

Pantha stars in a story within, and Esteban Maroto richly illustrates two stories featuring Dracula. Other creators in these issues include Doug Moench, Martin Pasko, Steve Skeates, Rafael Auraleon, Jose Bea, Fernando Fernandez, Luis Bermejo, Paul Neary, and more.

For those looking ahead, the next volume will include the critical first appearance of Vampi rogue the Blood Red Queen of Hearts, legendary writer Len Wein, another powerful Pantha epic, and more.

‘SONIC THE HEDGEHOG X GODZILLA’ BRINGS THE POP CULTURE FRANCHISES TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN COMICS

IDW’s BLOCKBUSTER CROSSOVER EVENT BEGINS THIS SUMMER

31101130456?profile=RESIZE_400x LOS ANGELES, CA (February 23, 2026) – The fan-favorite worlds of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG™ and GODZILLA are set to collide for the first time ever in comic books.

Speeding and stomping into comic shops this summer is SONIC X GODZILLA #1, a fun-filled celebration of both beloved franchises by writer Nick Marino (GODZILLA RIVALS) and artist Jack Lawrence (SONIC THE HEDGEHOG).

When the King of the Monsters and other iconic kaiju mysteriously arrive in the Blue Blur’s world, the brilliant and evil Dr. Eggman will try to harness the power of the kaiju for his own nefarious goals. Only Sonic and his amazing allies - including Amy, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow - will be able to stand in the villain’s way and try to send the giant monsters back to their own world.

"I'm doing my best to cook up fun scenarios for Jack to draw, and then I'm making sure my panel counts leave enough room for him to properly play around with the fantastic spectacle that this crossover deserves," commented Marino. "I'm fascinated by the scale of life, how we perceive lifeforms differently from bacteria to planet-wide ecosystems, from micro to macro. This particular character combination allows me to explore that in a fun way, and it's been really satisfying. I hope our readers agree that the result is a cohesive mix of these two visual focuses– small speedsters and massive monsters– that delivers the best of both worlds!"

“Sonic and Godzilla are such fun, action-packed franchises on their own, so it was a natural fit to pair them together, and it’s been a treat seeing the story and art come together,” added IDW’s Sonic Editorial. “We know how long fans have been asking for this crossover, and we wanted to make sure it’ll be worth the wait, so we’re going big: A mysterious portal, a massive kaiju attack on Sonic's World that inspires a new scheme by Dr. Eggman to take over the world, Knuckles and Shadow joining alongside Amy and Tails... and of course, plenty of Sonic and Godzilla!

An undertaking like this isn’t possible alone, though, so a huge thanks to our partners at SEGA® and Toho, who have been there every step of the way with guidance and support, and to our fantastic creative team of Nick Marino, Jack Lawrence, and colorist Reggie Graham, who have brought this story to life. It’s been a blast working on this series, and we’re so excited to finally be able to share it with fans!”

Contact a comic shop near you to pre-order SONIC THE HEDGEHOG X GODZILLA #1 and other SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and GODZILLA comics from IDW - it’s the best way for fans to guarantee their copies!

     H. G. WELLS’ WAR OF THE WORLDS ADAPTED AND RELEASED BY TITAN COMICS

FRESH TAKE ON THE STORY OF HMS THUNDER CHILD, COMING JUNE 2026

31044766256?profile=RESIZE_400xTitan Comics’ War of the Worlds: Thunder Child graphic novel follows the crew of the eponymous ironclad torpedo ram, the HMS Thunder Child, as they face the Martian invaders from H.G. Wells’ classic 1898 science-fiction tale War of the Worlds. Set to be released in March 2026, the story unfolds against the backdrop of strange occurrences, culminating in the Thunder Child’s final heroic showdown.

This is a terrifying and thrilling story soaked in blood, sacrifice, and loss – the first act in a new take on the well-known classic, featuring a unique cast and its own story to tell. It is a tale of horrors and conflicts of the crew as they experience the first desperate days of the Martian invasion and face the possible collapse of civilisation itself, threatened both from the stars… and from within.

The team working on War of the Worlds: Thunder Child share an impressive background. Writers Matt Hardy (Cadavers, Last Exit to Brighton) and Rob Jones (Hell in Stalingrad) teamed up with artist Kevin Castaniero (The Reason for Dragons, Cocaine Disco) to bring to life this dramatic original graphic novel that parallels the events in the classic story.

“We set out to make this both a contemporary piece that could be accessible to new readers whilst also something that fans of the book, the musical, or any other adaptation of Wells’ work would enjoy,” said artist Rob Jones about adapting H. G. Wells’ classic.

Matt Hardy, the writer and editor behind War of the Worlds: Thunder Child, emphasised how the artwork enhances the story: “Kevin Castaniero’s detailed, sometimes brutal art and his ability to convey the painful emotions have elevated the impact of our story and its power to resonate with readers.”

The graphic novel will come with a special DM edition cover by Norm Konyu (Downlands), which will be exclusive for comic shops.

WAR OF THE WORLDS: THUNDER CHILD is on sale June 2, 2026! Pre-order it now from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Forbidden Planet (UK & Europe).

PRAISE FOR THE WAR OF THE WORLDS: THUNDER CHILD VOL. 1...

“Offering stunning art, a great-looking story, Thunder Child is a tensely enthralling sci-fi steampunk adventure drama, with a cast of complex characters.” Down The Tubes

“There is a blockbuster feel…a big budget vibe that sometimes only comics can accomplish.” SHIFT

“For comic readers, it's recommended. For Wells fans, it's essential. All aboard the Thunder Child!” Altered Instinct

Joshua Williamson and Leomacs Sink Their Teeth into Blood of the Wolf Man in New Universal Monsters Series

The Curse Awakens in a Four-Part Limited Comic Book Series Launching

    June 2026

31127430089?profile=RESIZE_400xLOS ANGELES 03/16/2026— Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, today announced Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man, a new four-issue limited comic book series from the superstar team of writer Joshua Williamson (G.I. JOE, Superman) and artist Leomacs (Basketful of Heads, Rogues). Howling through moonlit nights, The Wolf Man returns in a new series arriving in comic book shops in June 2026.

“As a big fan of the 1941 The Wolf Man film from Universal Pictures and the Universal Monsters comics line with Skybound, I knew I had to do this book,” said Joshua Williamson. “It’s very different from my usual superhero work. Easily the most tragic. It’s a dramatic, emotional, and heartbreaking comic about family and generation trauma. All key pieces of a horror story. Oh, and bloody and violent. It earns the Blood of the Wolf Man title in more ways than one. And of course, I had to bring along my Rogues partner in crime Leomacs. His art captures the pain of The Wolf Man and the world he’s living in. This is not going to be what you expect…”

“Universal Monsters films have always captured my imagination, as there’s so much humanity in these characters. They are all incredibly iconic because they are both tragically human and terrifying like a wild nightmare at the same time,” added Leomacs. “The Wolf Man has also always been a favorite of mine, so it’s a dream to draw this amazing character in a brand-new story and setting, penned by the amazing Joshua Williamson. Together we explore the Wolf Man’s bloodlust and the inevitable consequences.”

Adam Jaeger thought he could become someone new at college... but not like this. One moment he was partying, the next he’s recovering from a massacre that left almost no survivors. The worst part? He might be responsible...

As the monster within tries to claw loose, Adam will do anything he can to stop from becoming...THE WOLF MAN.

“It’s amazing to see Joshua Williamson and Leomacs reunite to present this reimagining of the iconic The Wolf Man story. Josh is firing on all cylinders, adding to The Wolf Man mythos with wonderfully tragic and emotional storytelling, and Leomacs perfectly brings this 1970s world to life with his tense and visceral storytelling,” said Diegs Lopez, Senior Editor at Skybound. “Coming off the thrilling conclusion of Phantom of the Opera in May, we’re excited to now bring Universal Monsters stories to readers every month.”

This collaboration between Skybound and Universal Products & Experiences is the latest milestone in a near decade long relationship that encompasses film, video games, and now comic book publishing. Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man is the seventh Universal Monsters series launch, following James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds’ Dracula (which netted Simmonds a BEST PAINTER/MULTIMEDIA ARTIST (INTERIOR ART) Eisner Award nomination), Ram V, Dan Watters, and Matthew Roberts’ Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives!, Michael Walsh’s Frankenstein, Faith Erin Hick’s The Mummy, James Tynion IV and DANI’s The Invisible Man, and the brand-new addition to the line, the already critically acclaimed Universal Monsters: Phantom of the Opera from Tyler Boss and Martin Simmonds.

Blood of the Wolf Man will be followed by additional new Universal Monsters limited series pairing the biggest names in comics with pop culture’s most iconic monsters in the bestselling modern line of horror comics.

Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man #1 (of 4) (Lunar Codes Coming Soon | SRP: $4.99, unless otherwise noted) will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

BESTSELLING NEO-NOIR WESTERN THAT TEXAS BLOOD RIDES AGAIN WITH NEW STORY ARC, FACSIMILE EDITION OF DEBUT ISSUE THIS JUNE

31127432256?profile=RESIZE_400xPORTLAND, Ore. 03/18/2026 — Bestselling Neo-noir Western That Texas Blood by Chris Condon (News from the Fallout) and Jacob Phillips (Everything Dead & Dying) will ride again. That Texas Blood #21 will kick off an all-new story arc from Image Comics this June.

This new story arc will also feature exciting variant covers by Martin Simmonds (The Department of Truth), Luana Vecchio (Lovesick), and more.

"Well... we're back! Joe Bob returns, this time for a story set in 2003 that we like to call 'Hell Comes to Allison Ranch.' It's our most action-packed story arc yet with strong thematic links to two of our previous, fan-favorite outings—That Texas Blood volume one and The Enfield Gang Massacre,” said Condon. “While this new arc has some connections to our past stories, it's also a great place for readers unfamiliar with Ambrose County or its inhabitants to jump on, and Jacob and I are excited to bring some new collaborators along with us, too. We are so excited to be adding letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou and designer Michael Tivey to the That Texas Blood ranks. With the team we have assembled on this book, and the story we have to tell, I think this may just be the best That Texas Blood story yet."

In That Texas Blood #21, Sheriff Joe Bob Coates and Deputy Wilson Hart are called to the Allison Ranch—the largest and richest ranch in the United States—where family grievances are blooming into full-blown war.

Phillips added: “Joe Bob’s back and it feels so good! Coming back to That Texas Blood feels like coming home to us and we’ve missed it after so long away. We return with a brand new story arc, ‘Hell Comes To Allison Ranch.’ A heist gone wrong on the biggest ranch in the US on the night of the invasion of Iraq. This story is the perfect jumping on point for new readers and a warm welcome back for the regulars. So slip on your favourite pair of jeans, grab a can of Doyers and settle in. It’s gonna be one hell of a ride."

In celebration of this highly anticipated return to shelves, Image Comics will present a special Facsimile edition of the series’ debut issue printed on deluxe newsprint paper for the ultimate reading experience. Longtime fans and new readers alike can revisit the premiere that started it all and remains the perfect read for fans of Yellowstone.

Like Paris, Texas gut-punched by No Country for Old Men, That Texas Blood is a crime series that kicked off with the search for a casserole dish and led readers to a dark and tense confrontation on Sheriff Joe Bob Coates' 70th birthday.

The Enfield Gang Massacre, a sister series to That Texas Blood, is set 150 years in the past and features even more gunslinging action and dark frontier drama.

UPCOMING COSMIC HORROR SERIES THE EYE COLLECTOR A KALEIDOSCOPIC LOVECRAFTIAN THRILL RIDE LAUNCHING THIS JUNE

The Department of Truth meets Jeff Vandermeer in this all-new, existential scream

“The Eye Collector is the exquisite and elemental territory somewhere below surface and somewhere above depth. It is insufficient to merely explain these pages, or even say you’ve read them. The correct reaction, I think, is to drool.” —Tony Burgess, author and screenwriter of Pontypool

“A bizarre, surreal trip into a child’s mind.” —Silvia Moreno-Garcia, The New York Times bestselling author of Mexican Gothic and The Intrigue

31127433852?profile=RESIZE_192XPORTLAND, Ore. 03/19/2026 — Rising-star creative team Jonathan Ball (Last Breeds, Clockfire) and GMB Chomichuk (Blood Letters, Apocrypha: The Legend of Babymetal) debut an all-new cosmic horror in the upcoming The Eye Collector. This dizzying new series is set to launch in June from Image Comics.

“Each issue of The Eye Collector is designed to stand alone as an experience but also feed into a larger, multi-generational story that moves from the Moon to Earth to a weird, surreal future with shades of Metropolis and shadows of David Lynch,” said Ball. “Our goal is to make each issue its own world and stranger than the one before it.”

In The Eye Collector, an ancient being has its curiosity toward Earth reignited when the humans of the Apollo 10 mission make wishes over the Moon. But what is this spectral creature, and what does it want with our world? Seeing is believing…

Chomichuk added: “The Eye Collector is our irreverent experiment in comics storytelling, and over the course of the series you’ll see us using storytelling techniques that only work in comics. You look at the page, and it looks back at you.”

The Eye Collector explores themes of desire and fantasy while focusing on how our perspective informs and shapes our reality. We have seen, of course, nightmare versions of how this unfolds in the political and social world, as algorithms have transformed the media landscape into distorted funhouse mirrors, and AI increasingly makes our world hallucinatory and erodes our ability to discern the real from the deepfake.

However, the story focuses more claustrophobically on how the monstrous Eye Collector, who returns to Earth and begins to tempt the parents of a child living in a neglectful household with realizing their dreams in exchange for their son’s eyes.

The Eye Collector #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, June 24.

BUCKLE UP FOR AN ALL-NEW ONGOING SERIES FROM JAE LEE—M1: MONSTER RACING LEAGUE—HITTING THE STREETS THIS JUNE

Emmy Award winning writer and producer Jeffrey M. Howard (Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur) is also developing an animated version of the series

31127434691?profile=RESIZE_192X31127434697?profile=RESIZE_192XPORTLAND, Ore. 03/20/2026 — Co-writers Robert Windom and Lily Windom, Eisner Award winning artist Jae Lee (This Ends Tonight, Seven Sons), and colorist June Chung will kick comics into high gear with the upcoming ongoing series M1: Monster Racing League. This high-octane launch was first announced this morning exclusively at ComicBook.com and will start its engines in June from Image Comics.

This launch will include an eye-popping variant cover by Jon J Muth and additional, highly collectible covers by Lee.

Emmy Award winning writer and producer Jeffrey M. Howard (Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur) is also developing an animated version of the series.

"I'm excited for readers to see Jae's amazing art and June's beautiful colors, which really bring the exciting and mysterious world in series to life," said Robert Windom. "There are lots of unexpected twists and deep lore that we'll explore, and I can't wait to take people on this journey!"

When 17-year-old Dev moves to Japan, she stumbles into an underground world of illegal street racing, where speed is power and mutation wins championships. This high-octane sci-fi drama, set in a near-future Tokyo, is Fast & Furious by way of KPop Demon Hunters, Arcane, and Akira.

Lily Windom added: "M1: Monster Racing League is high-stakes monster racing meets K-pop—so much energy, style, and pressure—and the characters are all trying to figure out who they are. I think teens will love it because it’s super fast-paced and exciting but also really real about friendship, competition, and finding where you belong."

"Robert and Lily have come up with such an amazing story, it’s inspired me to try something I’ve never done before: Manga," said Lee. "I’m cutting loose with the art and having a blast. This is an ongoing series and I’m in it for the long haul!"

This project marks the second project that the Windoms have written together after the graphic novel Family Time, which Lily co-wrote with her father at just eleven-years-old.

This also will be the first time that award-winning creator Jae Lee has been an interior artist on an ongoing monthly comic book series since the ’90s. Husband-wife duo Lee and Chung are known for their popular comic covers and interior art collaborations on titles such as This Ends Tonight and Batman/Superman.

Outside of comic writing, Robert Windom is known for executive producing the documentary Dave Stevens: Drawn to Perfection, for which he won a Film Threat award. The critically acclaimed film was directed by Kelvin Mao; Windom, Lee, and Chung also co-created the Image Comics limited series This Ends Tonight and Seven Sons with Mao.

M1: Monster Racing League #1 will also feature a variant cover illustrated by Caldecott Honoree Jon J Muth, who is known for creating children’s books such as Zen Ties and illustrating graphic novels such as Grant Morrison’s The Mystery Play, for which he won the Eisner Award in the "Best Painter" category.

M1: Monster Racing League #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, June 10.

31099443662?profile=RESIZE_192XLOS ANGELES, CA (March 3, 2026) – Family or freedom? Top Shelf Productions invite you to discover the astonishing history of the mass evacuation of Cuban children, leaving communism—and their loved ones—behind, with the unforgettable original graphic novel, WE ARE PAN, available June 2, 2026. This debut graphic novel from professional illustrator and storyteller, Andre Frattino with art by Yasmin Flores Montanez beautifully captures the devastation and hope of those affected by the Castro regime in the early 1960s, and includes a foreword from descendant, critically acclaimed and award-winning author, Alex Segura (Secret Identity, Alter Ego).

We Are Pan is based on the true story of Operación Pedro Pan, a joint effort between the U.S. government and the Catholic Welfare Bureau to evacuate 14,000 children from Cuba to the U.S. between 1960 and 1962. With the rise of communism following Fidel Castro’s revolution, parents feared for their children’s future and, through this secret operation, secured passage for them to America. These children (later referred to as “Pedro Pans”) would be distributed across the U.S., mostly living in foster homes. In many cases, these children never saw their families again, and their lives would be changed forever. This is their story.

We Are Pan will be available wherever books are sold, as a full-color hardcover (ISBN: 978-1-60309-592-1) on June 2, 2026, for a list price of $19.99. For more information please visit the Top Shelf website.

SMALLVILLE’S KRISTIN KREUK MARKS  COMIC BOOK DEBUT WITH “BLACK STAR” - A NEW GOTHIC HORROR FROM TITAN COMICS!

31101318294?profile=RESIZE_400xMarch 9, 2026 - Globally renowned publisher Titan Comics are thrilled to be publishing Black Star (in stores and digital devices July 29, 2026) a debut comic series by acclaimed actress Kristin Kreuk (Smallville, Reacher, Murder in a Small Town). Co-written with Peter Mooney (Rookie Blue, Mistletoe Murders) and screenwriter Eric Putzer, and illustrated by artist Joe Bocardo (Nightwalkers, The Hexiles), this five-issue series is a Northern Gothic noir steeped in horror and dark humour.

Amidst skirmishes between two warring factions in the early nineteenth-century fur trade, Dashiell Carlyle discovers he has magical abilities… and that he's not alone. Thrust into a secret order with designs to use their magic to build a new and better world, Dashiell discovers that their utopia may come at a horrific cost.

It's a violent world: gritty, bloody, and dark. But that's balanced with a sense of discovery and awe. The storytelling’s propulsive, and the morality grey. It's The Revenant meets Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. It's a love letter to a frozen corner of the world that few know. It's weird. And wonderful. And something wholly its own.

“Black Star was born while Peter, Eric, and I were filming “Burden of Truth” in Winnipeg.” said Kristin Kreuk. “We were inspired by the city’s lore and, because we worked so well together, began spending our spare time on set (and then, for years afterwards) developing our own take on the history and magic we imagined pulsing beneath its surface, shaping the rhythms of the city and the battles raging just beyond our view.”

“Sometimes people come to my hometown and they can’t see past its rough edges or inhospitable weather. But it was clear Kristin and Eric could see right into the strangeness that makes Winnipeg so unique,” said co-writer Peter Mooney. “This isn’t so much an alternative history, but an omitted chapter that’s been lost to time. It’s bizarre and fantastical and entirely imagined — but it goes a long way towards explaining why the city is how it is today.”

“There’s an intimacy to comics that no other form quite achieves; the reader controls the rhythm, the breath, the revelation,” said co-writer Eric Putzer. “In a story about power and human nature, we felt that intimacy necessary to make the reader an active part of the exchange.” -

For a comic book artist, working on a series as ambitious and well-written as Black Star is a gift,” said artist Joe Bocardo. “But if you also work on it with a talented and friendly team that gives you creative freedom, then it's not a gift; it's a privilege."

“Set in the eerie, snow-blanketed wasteland of early 19th Century Winnipeg, this is magic as you’ve never seen it before,” said Titan Comics editor, Jake Devine. “Hopeful yet bleak, miraculous yet insidious, and only time will tell if the prize is worth the cost. Readers are going to be swept away by Joe Bocardo’s mesmerising artwork as it envelops them in a story filled with awe and tragedy.”

Titan’s Black Star comics is set to launch with Issue #1 in stores and on digital devices July 29, 2026.

SPIDER-MAN, PUNISHER AND HULK SHOW EACH OTHER NO MERCY IN JONATHAN HICKMAN AND ADAM KUBERT'S NEW SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME COMIC SERIES

This June, legendary creators Jonathan Hickman and Adam Kubert team up to tell the grittiest Spider-Man comic story of the modern age, co-starring Punisher and Hulk, in SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME.

31101324080?profile=RESIZE_192X31101324459?profile=RESIZE_192XNew York, NY— March 4, 2026 — This summer, three of Marvel’s most iconic stars barrel towards a brutal confrontation in SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME. Crafted by superstar comic creators Jonathan Hickman and Adam Kubert, the five-issue limited comic series puts Spider-Man, Punisher, and Hulk on a high-stakes collision course as they desperately pursue a missing Cosmic Cube. In the same spirit as 2024’s Wolverine: Revenge, the hit limited comic series by Hickman and Greg Capullo, SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME offers familiarity while existing apart from the main Marvel Universe, delivering a timeless, evergreen saga for all readers that’s unrestrained by continuity, scope and mercy!

    A DARK HOMECOMING AWAITS...

It’s a world before the Punisher. A world where the existence of the Hulk is but a whisper of a rumor. A world where A.I.M. has just developed a Cosmic Cube in the jungles of South America. Frank Castle, Bruce Banner and Peter Parker are all on a mission to keep the Cube out of the wrong hands – including each other’s. In this three-way free-for-all for the power of the cosmos, who will come out on top?

"I’m so happy to be working with Adam Kubert again and even happier that we’re getting to work on SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME,” Hickman shared. “Absolutely no one is going to see this one coming."

“Jordan [D. White] barely got the words out before I yelled “Yes!” to SPIDER-MAN: LONG WAY HOME,” Kubert said. “A five-issue Hickman saga with Spidey, Hulk, and Punisher? Total no-brainer. With Frank Martin making the mayhem pop! Just Make Mine Marvel!”

THE FUTURE RECLAIMS BISHOP IN NEW SOLO SERIES!

This June, Bishop, the X-Men’s iconic time-traveling mutant, headlines a new solo series by Saladin Ahmed and Mario Santoro.

31101322092?profile=RESIZE_400xNew York, NY— March 5, 2026 — BISHOP, the energy-absorbing powerhouse X-Man, hails from one of mutantkind’s darkest futures. This June, that future comes back to bite in BISHOP, an all-new five-issue limited series by superstar writer Saladin Ahmed (Wolverine) and acclaimed newcomer artist Mario Santoro (Storm).

In the series, Bishop finds himself in a fight against fate when the Final Brotherhood, a new group of villains originating from his future, journey to the past to end his time in the present once and for all. In order to stop them and prevent further disruption of the timeline, Bishop will team up with his sister Shard, a fan-favorite character who starred in ‘90s X-Factor as well as previous Bishop solo series, whose tragic fate haunts Bishop to this day. Similar to recently launched solo X-titles like Rogue and Cyclops, BISHOP promises to deliver a thrilling, standalone saga that encapsulates the heart and history of the character—all while putting them through the ringer on their most challenging and legacy-defining missions yet!

    THE TIME-LOST X-MAN IS BACK!

Bishop has always lived by a strict code. But that code will get called into question when his sister, Shard, is sent to the present right before she died! Will Bishop adhere to his principles and protect the timestream? Or will he risk it all to save the most important person in his life?

"I'm having a blast doing a deep dive into the dark corners of Lucas Bishop's time-travel traumatized mind!” Ahmed said. “I'm a writer who loves both family drama and spectacle, so getting to juxtapose the big visual comic book elements of temporal warping and explosive powers with the quiet pain and joy of sibling relationships is my happy place.”

“When I drew issues of Storm, I also had the pleasure of drawing Bishop, and I really enjoyed doing it. I never imagined that I would get a chance to draw an incredible solo adventure for the character,” Santoro shared. “I have always loved the X-Men, and I’m thrilled every time I get to work with one of them. I'm also excited to work with a fantastic team led by [Editor] Darren Shan and alongside Saladin Ahmed, who wrote an incredible story for Lucas."

“Mario Santoro's pages for this are a thrill, including some INSANE designs for our new 'hybrid' mutant villains, the Final Brotherhood!" Ahmed added.

ZACK KAPLAN AND DARK HORSE COMICS REVEAL MAJOR MULTI-TITLE DEAL FOR 2026

With a new series each from Stefano Raffaele, John J Pearson and a “Kill All Immortals” finale with Francesco Manna

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (February 18, 2025)— Following the success of Kill All Immortals, Masterminds, The Midnight Shadows, and Break Out, hit-maker Zack Kaplan and Dark Horse Comics are continuing their partnership to offer a thrilling slate of new 2026 comic series throughout the Dark Horse 40th anniversary year. Starting with Only The Savage Are Left in June, Kaplan teams up with creator superstar artist Stefano Raffaele (Alien Vs. Captain America, Detective Comics, Star Wars), followed by The Smart Division with Eisner-winning artist John J Pearson (In Bloom, Infernals, Mindset and Department of Truth) in late summer, before finishing out the year’s lineup with Marvel superstar artist Francesco Manna (Imperial Wars Exiles, Ultraman, Carnage and Predator), for a finale to the story of Frey Asvald in Kill All Immortals III in the fall. The slate includes the work of Thiago Rocha (Sister Imperator, Kill All Immortals), and Eisner-winning letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou (Masterminds, The Witcher: The Bear and the Butterfly) alongside Eisner-winning designer Tom Muller.

“My experience with Dark Horse over the past several years has been a testament to their commitment to creators, and I’m thrilled to partner with them to raise the bar in 2026. I’m joined by three amazing artists at the top of their game, Stefano, John and Francesco, we’re gonna focus on dynamic and dramatic stories, and we’re going all in to give readers something special.” - Zack Kaplan

    Only The Savage Are Left

31092751680?profile=RESIZE_400xStefano Raffaele joins Kaplan, with colors by Rocha and letters by Otsmane-Elhaou, for Only The Savage Are Left, a powerful and dramatic action-adventure story where surviving the monster-apocalypse requires you to become a monster yourself.

“I am so excited to partner with Stefano on what we hope will be a powerful standout series, Only The Savage Are Left,” shared Kaplan. “Comics like The Walking Dead were an inspiration for me to write comics, so to follow in its footsteps and to put our own take on the post-apocalyptic genre, and to explore the tragically savage nature of our society right now, well, we're very excited. The series is dangerous and heartfelt and it’s gonna rock you.”

“Only The Savage Are Left is a dream project for me,” confirmed Raffaele. “Zack and I have been looking for the right story to collaborate on for a long time, and this one immediately felt special. It’s powerful, emotional, and visually daring, a chance for me to fully unleash my cinematic approach to comics.”

Look for Only The Savage Are Left to arrive in comic shops on June 3, 2026.

    The Smart Division

31092751877?profile=RESIZE_400xKaplan and Pearson, with letterer Otsmane-Elhaou, follow up their series Mindset with a dark and modern sci-fi detective series about the first AI app that helps us commit the perfect crimes, and the two disparate FBI agents who must hunt it down and stop it.

“John Pearson and I have been planning our second series for years,” confides Kaplan. “Looking for the right story and right time. The Smart Division takes everything you loved about our first series Mindset, the playing with form, the thoughtful commentary on technology, and the tense character drama, and raises the bar, with more danger and dread. Artificial Intelligence is the hot topic of our time, but we’re exploring it like you’ve never seen - what happens when it helps us commit the perfect crimes. You’re gonna be blown away.”

"The Smart Division is a stone-cold crime thriller that takes you on an exploration of humanity and technology, which is exactly why I’m pushing my artwork into a more traditional approach and exploring the juxtaposition of the digital and the traditional,” says Pearson. “Embracing human errors and accidents as part of the creative process is integral to making art that speaks to people in a meaningful way, so with The Smart Division that clear indication of it being made by a human hand is central to showing you the division, decay and evolution in this broken world of technological abundance.”

Find The Smart Division at your favorite comic shop in late fall. More details to come.

    Kill All Immortals III

31092752268?profile=RESIZE_400xRocha and Otsmane-Elhaou return for the violently fantastic conclusion of Kaplan’s immortal Viking trilogy alongside Manna’s high impact artwork. The series is heralded as Succession meets John Wick with the fever-pitch action of heroines like Erika Slaughter. The action-packed series finale will see Viking warrior Frey Asvald face a broken family, a modern world of immortal rivals, and the ultimate question - will she free herself from immortality or accept it? Ringo-Award winning, Clio-winning cover artist Oliver Barrett returns with Francesco Manna for some killer Issue #1 covers.

“I cannot wait to bring you the finale of Kill All Immortals,” exclaims Kaplan. “This series has been a big hit since it came out, capturing an exciting family drama of barbaric Vikings in our modern world. We’re so lucky to be joined by Marvel superstar Francesco Manna to deliver a poetic and action-packed conclusion to Frey Asvald’s story. We will not be holding back! It will be worthy of the series we’ve given you so far!”

Kill All Immortals III is expected to hit your local comic shop in the fall.

The excitement for Zack Kaplan stories from Dark Horse Comics in 2026 begins when Only The Savage Are Left #1 arrives in comic shops on June 3, 2026, for $4.99. Visit Find your comics store for more details and stores near you.

SPIDER-MAN AND IRON MAN TEAM UP IN IRON MAN #6!

Learn about IRON MAN #6, an upcoming issue of Joshua Williamson and Carmen Carnero’s hit new run, coming this May!

31092752473?profile=RESIZE_400xNew York, NY— February 17, 2026 — Joshua Williamson and Carmen Carnero’s new run of IRON MAN is a certified hit! The debut issue arrived last month to critical acclaim and will return next month with a much-demanded second printing. Today, fans can peek ahead with the reveal of issue six, on sale in May. Featuring art by guest artist Juann Cabal, the issue will guest star Spider-Man and Norman Osborn.

Praised for delivering a back-to-basics approach while also planting seeds for a riveting future, IRON MAN #1 ended with a startling cliffhanger. As Tony raced to confront A.I.M. for stolen tech, Captain America hosted an eclectic group, warning them to keep a watchful eye on Tony’s recent actions. Among the familiar faces were fellow heroes like Captain Marvel, lifelong best friends like War Machine, and former adversary Norman Osborn!

Norman and Tony’s bitter rivalry defined Marvel’s “Dark Reign” era, where Norman led the Dark Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. as Iron Patriot. Now, he struggles to find redemption in the pages of Joe Kelly, John Romita Jr., and Pepe Larraz’s Amazing Spider-Man. Can Spider-Man prevent Norman’s old feud from resurfacing or will Tony cause Norman to prematurely slip back to his old ways? In addition to Ryan Stegman’s main cover, IRON MAN #6 will feature stunning variant covers, including a special foil cover by Salvador Larroca, an homage to Larroca’s Invincible Iron Man (2008) #7 cover during his run on the title with Matt Fraction, and the latest in Todd Nauck’s “Ironic” series spotlighting the Iron Patriot armor, which makes a comeback in the story.

SPIDER-MAN MUST SAVE NORMAN OSBORN… FROM IRON MAN?!

Tony Stark and Norman Osborn have history. They’ve known each other longer than you might know. And when the Iron Patriot armor is stolen, all signs point toward the former Green Goblin. Only problem is Iron Man has just one, little, tiny thing standing in his way to take down Norman: the AMAZING, SPECTACULAR, FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN!

"The response to our new Iron Man series has been tremendous and inspiring,” Williamson shared. “It's great to see Marvel readers embrace our take on the Armored Avenger. And we're just getting started. IRON MAN #6 is the first of our ‘Iron Man Team-up’ issues and follows up on the Norman Osborn tease from the first issue's cover.”

“I've always been fascinated by the rivalry between Tony and Norman and how in a different world they could have been allies or maybe even friends,” he continued. “But Tony doesn't trust that Norman has turned to the side of the angels, which puts them into conflict. With Spider-Man caught in the middle. This is my first time writing the wallcrawler and it's been a dream come true. But it's not all fun and games...This issue will be key for the future of Iron Man!"

This anthology includes ten new standalone stories blending horror and romance in the style of classic EC Comics anthologies by fan-favorite LGBTQIA+ creators, including James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children, The Nice House by the Sea), Tate Brombal (Everything Dead & Dying, House of Slaughter), Jadzia Axelrod (The DC Book of Pride, Galaxy: The Prettiest Star), Vita Ayala (Finders//Keepers, Submerged), Zoe Tunnell (Blaide Maidens, Godzilla: Valentine’s Day Special), Josh Trujillo (DC Pride: The Heart Wants, Blue Beetle), Lee Knox Ostetag (The Deep Dark, The Girl from the Sea), Kenny Wroten (Everyone Sux But You, Eden II), Jacoby Salcedo (Frontera, This Land is Our Land: A Blue Beetle Story), Lilah Sturges (Blue Beetle: Jaime Reyes, Dune: The Official Movie Graphic Novel), Vash Taylor (Midst: Ripples, Galaxy: The Prettiest Star), and more. This super-sized special also includes a framing story by the three-time GLAAD Media Award-nominated creative team of The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos. Finally, the one-shot will feature three covers by V. Gagnon, Bradley Clayton, and Rian Sygh and a back-cover by Isaac Goodhart and Miquel Muerto.

Some of the creators were able to share their excitement for the one-shot as well:

James Tynion IV: “Love takes many shapes, and so do monsters. I'm thrilled that Tiny Onion can present Monsters in Love: A Pride Anthology this June for Pride Month with Dark Horse. These ten stories represent some of the most exciting creators in the industry as well as the love and hope we need now more than ever.”

Jadzia Axelrod: “My story, Every Witch Way, is illustrated by Bailie Rosenlund, takes the classic trans person fear of ‘what if I transition and nobody likes me anymore?’ and turns it on its head. What if you transitioned and were such an incredible smoke show that you started to give your best friend feelings she didn't know she had? So often we see witches in fiction using magic to make themselves hot as a sign of their descent into evil, but what if that is just self-care? Better living through sorcery. And if it gets you a gay make-out in the bargain, so much the better!

Lilah Sturges: “I am, of course, thrilled to be working with Tiny Onion and the Monsters in Love one-shot is a perfect showcase for the kind of story I like to tell. It's fun and dark and tongue-in-cheek, but it also says a little something about the way that queer communities can form as pearls from the sand grains of heteronormativity. Honestly, though, the main attraction for me is getting to work with Vash Taylor, whose elegant, distinctive style is a real gift to comics!”

Tate Brombal: “Christopher Chaos has always been a book about outsiders finding each other in friendship, in found family, and in love. It has often been inspired by the very real friendship and love of our entire creative team, so when we first introduced the Monsters in Love backup comics...it just made sense. It was a chance for our family to grow and evolve and spotlight such incredible talent. Now Christopher is taking the backseat as Monsters in Love officially grows up and becomes its fully formed self. I feel so honored to play even a minor role in this collection of love.”

Isaac Goodhart: “I am so unbelievably honored to share a comic with some of the most unique and talented voices I have ever seen in comics. Monsters in Love was always meant to showcase and elevate new voices and I'm grateful to be a part of it. The past few years working on Christopher Chaos with my friends has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. We poured everything we've got into these pages.”

Lee Knox Ostertag: “‘Monsters in Love’ is a theme I could make comics about until the heat death of the universe. I'm really excited to be a part of this project!”

Monsters in Love: A Pride Anthology one-shot arrives in comic shops on June 3, 2026 and is now available for pre-order from your local comic shop for $9.99.

  • X-MEN: OUTBACK RETURNS TO ONE OF THE HOTTEST ERAS OF UNCANNY X-MEN!

This May, Steve Orlando and Stephen Segovia deliver an all-new saga set during the X-Men’s beloved Australian Outback era in X-MEN: OUTBACK, a five-issue retro limited series.

31092743489?profile=RESIZE_400xNew York, NY— February 20, 2026 — In the late '80s, legendary Uncanny X-Men writer Chris Claremont and superstar artist Marc Silvestri took Marvel’s Merry Mutants down under for a transformative period of the franchise known as the Outback Era. Featuring a dynamic lineup of X-Men who put the outlaw in “outlaw heroes” and bold storytelling hot enough to fan the flames of an Inferno, the Outback Era is beloved by fans, but this short-but-sweet period in X-Men history always felt full of untapped potential—until now! This June, two modern mutant masters, writer Steve Orlando (X-Men Unlimited, Sorcerer Supreme) and artist Stephen Segovia (Hellions, New Avengers) reveal an all-new saga set during this iconic era in X-MEN: OUTBACK, a five-issue retro limited series with covers by acclaimed X-Men artist Russell Dauterman.

    FROM THE AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK!

Journey back to a time when the public believed Storm, Wolverine, Rogue, Colossus, Dazzler, Havok, Psylocke and Longshot were dead. But from the shadows, these X-Men protected humanity from their Australian headquarters! But why did the team choose the Outback as their home base? How did tensions between them almost tear the team apart? And which of their old enemies threatened to expose their secret?

“It's a rare thing, something you logically don't expect, to get the chance as a creator to work in the time period that made you love a comic, a team, or a character,” Orlando shared. “For me, picking up issues where I could at flea markets and spinner racks of the late '80s and '90s, the outback was the first place I met the X-Men on the page. And they all but leapt off it! The tension, the struggle to carve out a new life, the explosive personalities...and the NEW! It was such a bold era, enough to make me a fan for life. Now, to get to work in that time period with X-MEN: OUTBACK? That's not even something the young me would've thought possible.”

“We've got an incredible team with Stephen Segovia and Russell Dauterman—and we're cooking up stories that celebrate and elevate the era,” he continued. “And in its spirit, you'll of course be seeing some familiar faces...but just the same—there'll be all new threats, connections, and secret exes on the way!”

The latest “retro” series that deliver all-new stories set during definitive Marvel Comics eras, X-MEN: OUTBACK follows recent X-hits like Psylocke: Ninja and Emma Frost: The White Queen. Check out Dauterman’s first cover and pick up X-MEN: OUTBACK at your local comic shop this June!

GET READY TO SHRED IN KELLY SUE DECONNICK, SAM HUMPHRIES, AND NATACHA BUSTOS’S NEW SCI-FI SKATEPUNK SAGA, SKATE ALI

Available in comic shops on June 10!

31092744096?profile=RESIZE_400xMILWAUKIE, Ore. (February 20, 2026)—Dark Horse Comics presents Skate Ali, a new five-issue comic series from Kelly Sue DeConnick, Sam Humphries, and Natacha Bustos! Skate Ali is a high-octane, genre-smashing sci-fi skatepunk saga about friendship, rebellion, and finding yourself when the world wants to knock you down written by DeConnick (FML, Bitch Planet) and Humphries (Harley Quinn, Guardians of the Galaxy), illustrated by Bustos (Moon Girl, Miles Morales), and lettered by Josh Reed (Knight City, Christmas 365). Issue #1 will be available in June 2026 and will feature cover art by Bustos, Joe Quinones, Sweeney Boo, Emma Rios, and Jamie McKelvie.

    About Skate Ali:

Welcome to near-future Los Angeles—a neon-scorched city where skateboarding has been ruthlessly outlawed. But nothing stops Skate Ali.By day, she’s just another student dodging detention. By night, she’s a rebel on wheels, an enigmatic loner defying the law on the Los Angeles streets.

But when Ali slams headfirst into the infamous world of underground skateboarding, she comes face to face with a crew of outcast skaters called the LA Skull Clan, and their masked leader, Skull Queen 9. Fueled by a magical force called the Rush, the clan pulls off explosive moves and defiant acts of resistance.

Faced with the opportunity to level up her game, but afraid of actually being perceived by others, Ali must decide: will she play it safe, or kickflip straight into a revolution?

“Kelly Sue and I first came up with Skate Ali over ten years ago,” said Humphries. “She's been living in our heads ever since, demanding to come out, skating the inside of our skulls like they were empty swimming pools. It's noisy and we needed the relief, but there's also something about her heart, smartass vibes, and banged up ankles that has made her impossible to ignore. Getting Natacha to join us as artist and co-creator was the perfect fit to make Ali finally come alive. We can't wait for everyone to meet the best and worst skater in the history of Los Angeles."

"Working on this project has been fun from the very beginning,” added Bustos. “I was immediately captivated by the scripts and the spokon spirit at the heart of the story, with its peculiar and incredibly smartly written characters. Of course, Ali is the soul of everything, and Sam and Kelly’s description of her made me fall in love with the character at first sight. Designing her was a joy, just like bringing to life all the characters who orbit around her. I hope readers enjoy a comic that’s fun, clever, and full of heart."

Drop into your local comic shop and pre-order Skate Ali #1 (of 5) before it hits shelves on June 10, 2026 for $4.99.

Praise for Kelly Sue DeConnick, Sam Humphries, and Natacha Bustos:

“DeConnick has always combined top-notch lyrical text with a knack for bringing out the best in the artists she works with.”—Polygon

“Kelly Sue DeConnick either writes with a King Midas pen, is one of the few remaining wizards in the world, or, most likely, is just that damn good because Bitch Planet is yet another amazing series with her name on the cover.”—Word on the Nerd

“Kelly Sue DeConnick is a force in comics.”—Book Riot

"[Humphries] is a comic book legend."—SyFy.com

"Sam Humphries delivers a damn near perfect bit of storytelling."— Comicbook.com

“With subdued intent, Bustos illustrates worlds where readers of all backgrounds can feel empowered and see themselves represented. She herself became an icon of sorts to young fans of color, in which she sees her younger self represented.”—Huffington Post

“While everyone does great work across the board, there is no underestimating the importance of Bustos’s work here, as she gave us a Lunella that very much looked and acted like a 9-year-old, and the dynamic motion and epic double-page spreads she brought to the series are truly unique. The design work she did in establishing the sort of anti-fashion of Lunella helped to define the character, and in the best moments the art fairly leaps off the pages. Her covers on the series are brilliant and rank among the best of the last decade.”—Comics Beat on Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur

The Next Phase of the Energon Universe Starts This June!

31092746674?profile=RESIZE_710x31092746870?profile=RESIZE_400x31092747265?profile=RESIZE_192XLOS ANGELES 02/20/2026 — As announced today in Robert Kirkman’s keynote address at ComicsPro, Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading games, IP and toy company Hasbro, will deliver an all-new addition to the Energon Universe, M.A.S.K., by the powerhouse team of writer Dan Watters (Batman: Dark Patterns, DESTRO), artist Pye Parr (Petrol Head, New Gods), colorist Pierluigi Casolino (DC vs Vampires), and letterer Rus Wooton (TRANSFORMERS). Together, they’re launching the most anticipated new series of the year, where anyone--and everyone--in the Energon Universe must join the fight for humanity’s survival. The historic first issue of this explosive new ongoing series hits comic book shelves June 3, 2026.

The world is becoming a terrifying place. Matt Trakker needs your help saving it. Enter M.A.S.K. -- a network of specialists ready to respond to the next global emergency. At a moment’s notice, Trakker and his agents can deploy bleeding-edge technology that converts their vehicles--and their drivers--into the ultimate weapon. But Miles Mayhem and V.E.N.O.M. are one step ahead in a secret arms race, scouring the globe for deadly weapons from this planet and beyond, ready to sell out the entire human race. Only M.A.S.K. can stop them… but will Trakker’s own secrets jeopardize their entire mission?

“Illusion is the ultimate weapon--but also sometimes weapons are the ultimate weapon,” said Dan Watters. “M.A.S.K. is a book about ordinary people taking it into their own hands to face down the awesome weaponry of the Energon Universe--and a high octane, nonstop thrill ride to boot. I couldn’t be prouder to be bringing you this story alongside Pye this summer. Welcome to the M.A.S.K. network. Matt Trakker needs you to save the world.”

“80s sports cars! Jets! Lasers! Robots! M.A.S.K. has everything that I love to read, watch, and draw, and my inner 12-year-old fought to the surface and made me scream loudly in the meeting when I was offered this gig,” said Pye Parr. “Never have I more bitterly regretted selling my beloved childhood toys, but the chance to rebuild all that stuff on the page has more than made up for it, and I can’t wait to see where Dan takes us in the Energon Universe.”

In addition to the main cover by Pye Parr, the lineup of variant covers for M.A.S.K. #1 includes open-to-order covers by J. Scott Campbell, Cedric Poulat, and Mark Spears, Energon Universe Third Anniversary connecting covers by Tom Reilly & Adriano Lucas, incentive variant covers by Kael Ngu, E.J. Su, Jonboy Meyers, Joshua Cassara & Romulo Fajardo Jr., and Daniel Warren Johnson & Mike Spicer, blank sketch covers featuring M.A.S.K. and V.E.N.O.M., foil covers by Pye Parr and J. Scott Campbell, and die-cut foil mask covers by Pye Parr, Luke Preece & Andres Juarez.

M.A.S.K. #1 also features a first-ever Energon Universe blind bag program that allows fans a chance to get ANY of the solicited covers from A through K, intermixed at varying degrees of rarity. However, there are rare SURPRISE variant covers related to the Energon Universe that can be found in these blind bags. Those SURPRISE comics will not be publicly announced in advance of the issue release.

"I love M.A.S.K.!” screamed Robert Kirkman. “Readers are going to freak out when they see how awesome this book is. Dan and Pye are expanding the Energon Universe in the coolest ways possible.”

"We’ve been working on M.A.S.K. in the shadows for so long, I’m thrilled to finally pull the curtain back and reveal what we’ve cooked up,” noted Executive Editor Ben Abernathy. “Dan, Pye, Pierluigi, and Rus are delivering a thrilling new chapter in the Energon Universe!”

In celebration of M.A.S.K.’s arrival in the Energon Universe, Skybound and Hasbro will feature an exclusive first look at M.A.S.K. in the Energon Universe Special 2026, a Free Comic Book Day issue releasing Saturday, May 2, 2026. The special issue will include four all-new stories from TRANSFORMERS, G.I. JOE, and Void Rivals and will serve as the first official glimpse into Dan Watters and Pye Parr’s M.A.S.K.

M.A.S.K. is the latest addition to the historic collaboration between Skybound and Hasbro, a new part of the shared Energon Universe that features ongoing series Void Rivals by writer Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead), artist Andrei Bressan (Aquaman), and colorist Patricio Delpeche (The Sandman Universe: Nightmare Country), the two-time Eisner Award winning TRANSFORMERS by writer Robert Kirkman, artist Dan Mora (Justice League Unlimited, Superman), and colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater, Murder Falcon), and G.I. JOE by writer Joshua Williamson (Superman, Dark Ride), artist Andrea Milana (X-Men ’97), and colorist Lee Loughridge (Thor, Star Wars).

Originally launched in 1985, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) became a pop-culture phenomenon with its mix of spy intrigue and sci-fi action. Brought to life through an animated series and bestselling toy line, M.A.S.K. followed Matt Trakker and his elite civilian task force as they battled Miles Mayhem and the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. using advanced masks and transforming vehicles enhanced with extraordinary abilities. Now, M.A.S.K. enters the Energon Universe for a revolutionary new era.

M.A.S.K. #1 (Lunar Codes Coming Soon| $4.99, unless otherwise noted) will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

Kevin Smith’s long-awaited Jay & Silent Bob Marvel crossover arrives this June, featuring art by Giuseppe Camuncoli.

A lifelong True Believer, Kevin Smith has contributed to the Marvel legacy with his own Marvel Comics projects, frequent Marvel references in his film work and fun cameos on the comic page. Now, the moment he and fans have waited decades for finally arrives as his most beloved creations, JAY & SILENT BOB, enter the Marvel Universe in a multiverse-shattering one-shot! The duo will go on a wild trip across the Marvel mythos, teaming up with its greatest heroes against Doctor Doom, in an adventure that blends their iconic slacker humor with super hero storytelling!

THEY’RE NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE IN THIS UNIVERSE!

Capped, tan American Jay and friendly neighborhood wider-man Silent Bob make a quick stop in the Marvel Universe! TOP SHELF LAND GIGS, TECHNOLOGY-DRIVEN DYSTOPIAN TALE FROM UK CREATORS SIMON SMITH AND MARK MOSEDALE

In Stores June 16, 2026, Preorder Available Now

31087174700?profile=RESIZE_400xLOS ANGELES, CA (February 6, 2026) — A.I. took the work. Gigs replaced jobs. Ordinary people are left to scrape together lives in a world that's no longer built for them. This is Gigs, a new graphic novel from Top Shelf releasing June 16, 2026. With a hard-won blend of biting satire and humanistic passion, two creators from the North of England weave together six divergent chapters into an extraordinary graphic novel. Gigs is both a powerful warning about the oppressive world to come and a defiant celebration of the humanity that will sprout up in the cracks.

"When we started working on Gigs in 2019. We hoped that doing a book about AI taking jobs and necessitating a universal basic income wouldn't become irrelevant in the time we spent making it. It turns out that that was the wrong thing to hope for,” says co-creator Mark Mosedale. “Still, there are all the right things left to hope for and, as Woody Guthrie wrote, you've got to keep the hoping machine running. For me, writing Gigs has been a big part of that."

"When we started Gigs I was reaching for that feeling that great music gives me - hearing Tinseltown in the Rain for the first time, or Pearly-Dewdrops’ Drops, or Once In A Lifetime. When this stuff finds you, it's proof that another, better world is possible, and an encouragement to look for it,” says co-creator Si Smith. “Imagining a dystopia is relatively easy, especially right now, and the world that we’ve built in Gigs is quite bleak. But whilst hope and joy and revelation are definitely much harder to create, Mark and I have had a good go at it."

    Mark Mosedale, Si Smith

    About the Book

In a frighteningly near future where Basic Income is supplemented by gig work assigned by “the app”…an octogenarian punk and a lonely young worker seek escape through music. "Hits the sweet spot for fans of all ages!" - Nerd Initiative

31087174664?profile=RESIZE_400xLOS ANGELES 02/03/2026— Today Skybound and Image Comics, in partnership with global children’s book publisher AMEET, announced the graphic novel release of LEGO® NINJAGO®: DARK ISLAND TRILOGY. Perfectly timed in celebration of LEGO NINJAGO’S 15th anniversary, the first-ever collection of the iconic series by writer Greg Farshtey and artist Paul Lee will be available everywhere books are sold May 2026, featuring a new cover by Tri Vuong (Everyday Hero Machine Boy).

Long out of print, LEGO NINJAGO: DARK ISLAND TRILOGY is a key piece of Ninjago lore—essential for longtime fans and increasingly relevant to LEGO’s ongoing storytelling, while still remaining new reader friendly.

A new darkness threatens Ninjago as Master Wu senses a growing imbalance between good and evil. Will Master Wu and the ninjas’ Spinjitzu be enough against threats new and old alike? Or will the coming darkness sweep across Dark Island like a massive storm and take everyone with it?

"We're thrilled to bring this out-of-print story back to LEGO NINJAGO fans everywhere,” said Diegs Lopez, Senior Editor at Skybound. “The Dark Island Trilogy is full of epic set pieces and Spinjitzu action and a must read for new and established fans."

LEGO NINJAGO: DARK ISLAND TRILOGY continues the landmark partnership between Skybound and AMEET to publish LEGO branded graphic novels. The all-new LEGO NINJAGO: STRIKE OF THE SERPENTINE, from rising stars Cameron Chittock (Mapmakers, TMNT x Stranger Things) and Will Morris (Gospel), will be available in February 2026 and LEGO NINJAGO: GARMADON and LEGO NINJAGO: SHATTERSPIN, both by critically acclaimed writer/artist Tri Vuong, are available now.

Each graphic novel is the result of an unparalleled collaboration between AMEET, Skybound, and the LEGO Group’s LEGO NINJAGO transmedia team that connects the graphic novels with the TV show and product line.

LEGO NINJAGO: DARK ISLAND TRILOGY (978-1-5343-3426-7 | SRP $19.99) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, June 3,2026, and at booksellers, along with digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Description: Mandrake the Magician began as a daily strip on June 11, 1934, and whether Lee Falk knew it as a sophomore at the University of Illinois, he was making history. The daily strip ended after a 79-year run, and the Sunday strip, which started in 1935, ran for 68 years. Any fan of comic strips is almost certainly familiar with Falk’s other creation, The Phantom, which started in 1936 and continues to this day.

Mandrake the Magician whisked readers to exotic locales (often fictional amalgams of the Orient, the Middle East, India or Eastern Europe) and immersed them in extended narratives with memorable villains and a colorful support cast.

The strips presented in the series of reprints features two staple characters in addition to the master magician. Lothar and Princess Narda (princess of the mythical European kingdom Cockaigne). Lothar appears within the first few days (June 14, 1934), and Narda is introduced in Mandrake's second adventure. Narda is similar to Flash Gordon's Dale Arden: beautiful constantly in need of rescue, and the love interest of the hero. A Prince of Seven Nations of Africa, Lothar is Mandrake's devoted servant, friend, and companion. He is, "the strongest man in the world," and decked out in a fez, shorts, and a leopard shirt.

Comics historian Don Markstein commented that, "Some people say Mandrake the Magician... was comics' first superhero," and we at Hermes Press couldn't agree more.
