In previous years, this was a memory box so we didn't miss any good nominations for the Cappies. With the Cappies hypertimed away, that doesn't mean we have to discontinue these threads. I've always liked going back at the end of the year and seeing the books and stories and moments that people really champion -- including plenty of stuff that I've forgotten about come Christmastime.

So have at it, Legionnaires! It's a bold new year! What in 2017 has knocked you out?

1000 piece puzzle.

I have been waiting ten years for this (but expecting it for only eight).

Just saw this -- congratulations on finally getting your Frankenstein, Jeff! How is it?

The first one was damaged, so I returned it.

The second one was damaged, too (although not as badly), and I returned it as well.

The third one is still on the way.

Shipped today...

This is an eclectic mix of what you'd expect plus a whole lot of stories I've never seen before.

This was solicited to ship a long time ago. I did not pre-order it, but it is slated to ship this week.

"Exclusively featuring the art of comic great John Buscema, this collection features 272 pages of action packed Roy Rogers King of the Cowboys comics specially selected by Roy's son, Dusty!"
