Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.
If everyone's in agreement I'd like to kick this off with one of my favourite Action Comic covers, from January 1967. Curt Swan really excelled himself here.

Richard, et al: I took no disrespect. Was only trying to be fair. My memory isn't 100% perfect and the only comic book news source in the 1980s was The Comics Buyers' Guide. Dedicated comic book stores and the Internet are more 1990s and beyond to me.
But since this is the last day for Parents month, let's go out with a bang and get the whole family together, courtesy of the Grand Comics Database. You have to admire (and miss) the innocence of the Silver Age.
As to future theme suggestions, maybe we can do another Artist tribute month at some point, although I am in serious doubt that there are enough Tim Sale covers to do an entire month between all of us.
We could always spotlight specific teams and their members, like we did back in November 2021 for the Justice Society's 80th anniversary. Of course The Avengers, The X-men, The Fantastic Four and the Justice League should all be coming upon major anniversaries within the next few years too.
Steve, this one was posted yesterday. By you.

My last cover of July. Inexplicably Jor-El visited Earth (again).
Sorry, forgot this one - this is my last cover...
August 2022 - Fairgrounds and Carnivals.
The second half of summer will be a fair season:
Don't tell Tony Stark about this
A similar scene...
Steve, here's the updated information for the top-of-page index. Note, too, that there's an extra "Fairgrounds/Carnivals" above the index which doesn't belong there, and should be deleted.

"Parents" has been a very popular theme, with 356 posts during the month. The only previous month to collect more posts was January 2021, with "Doppelgangers" (377 posts). Of course, that is just the number of separate replies to the discussion, and doesn't necessarily reflect the number of actual covers posted.
Back when we were doing bridges, I kept finding quite a few buildings under construction, elevated trains and rollercoasters. I will begin the month posting "rollercoasters" as a subset of "carnivlas" starting with...
