Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.
If everyone's in agreement I'd like to kick this off with one of my favourite Action Comic covers, from January 1967. Curt Swan really excelled himself here.

"Logos in Action" sounds like a primer on logical arguments, but it's a good topic. "Dynamic Duos" is flexible and should provide some interesting pairs.
An end-of-the-month look at a member of the Justice Society:
The proposals for the next two months sound great.
Here's a transition to next month.
Here's a particularly versatile transition cover.
A founding member of the JSA (November) being punched through the cover (December) in "Duel Between the Dynamic Duo Dual Atoms" (January).
While I may not have been able to post every day this past month, I would be remiss in suggesting the Justice Society theme to begin with by missing its last day.
First off, I found this in the Grand Comics Database while searching for future covers.
The picture is just a black and white, slightly edited rendition of the Golden Age Flash Comics #1 with the All Star logo and a cover date the quarter before the first issue of the new title was released, but then again that's why they call it an "ash can" issue.
Now then, two JSA covers to not only conclude this month, but transition over to next month, also courtesy of the GCD.
In the above, the JSA title logo looks like something Doctor Fate's magic created, while below the characters, apparently having just posed with the logo, are springing into action from it.
Lee, there is a two-volume subset of Crisis on Multiple Earths subtitled The Team-Ups (and since they both feature JSA members, I'll post the covers below):
Thanks Jeff. I'll have to keep an eye out for those. See how much great material I've missed not coming into comic books until the latter half of the Bronze Age? (1974)
Hopefully this one hasn't popped up yet but Justice League of America #113 must have been my first JLA/JSA team-up that would have repercussions some thirty years later!
A regular post......
...... and a transition to December (just not to its theme) with a favorite word balloon.
December 2021 - Logos in the action.
