Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.
If everyone's in agreement I'd like to kick this off with one of my favourite Action Comic covers, from January 1967. Curt Swan really excelled himself here.

Aye, Saint Patrick's Day. Where even those not born of the Emerald Isle are honorary Irish for a day and everyone wears green. Even these guys. (March 1962 cover courtesy of the Grand Comics Database.)
Jack O' Lantern
In the upper right: Shamrock
March 1974: the previous September saw the debut of the SUPER FRIENDS Saturday morning cartoon which I was thrilled to watch but there was a problem at the time. WONDER WOMAN was on the show but not in the Justice League of America comic save for reprints! So Wonder Woman #212 began the process of fixing that and it was a long process!
I never bought that many issues of Wonder Woman but this one had the JLA!
The Superman Family #165, spotlighting SUPERGIRL as they moved her to Florida as a teacher in an experimental school and away from the romantic problems she had been having! And she gets a powerful new opponent: TLACA, the Princess of the Golden Sun aka Superior Girl!
And it seems like both Jimmy and Lois have "super-villains" of their own plus more adventures with the extended Superman Family!
Flash 27 and two Green Lanterns numbered 27
Both of these covers date to March 1973. On March 8 of that year, the "27 Club" legend grew with the death of the Grateful Dead's Ron "Pigpen" McKernan:
JANUARY 1961 - BIRTH MONTH
The Raven and the Wasp vs Batman and Robin... and not one flier among them!
April 1974: A very important event! I get Superboy #203 now starring THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, my first actual story with them in it! And it's quite frankly very depressing as we see the DEATH of the INVISIBLE KID which had no impact on me at the time. Plus Validus nearly demolishes our heroes!
Justice League of America #112 has our other heroes nearly demolished by AMAZO! Luckily they have Batman!
Also, Starman gets a solo story reprint. In fact, he had a strong representation of reprints in the JLA 100 Pagers!
Okay. I'm posting a romance cover today because John Lustig published my first Last Kiss gag yesterday for Saint Patrick's Day. For those who came in late, Lustig acquired all their old romance material when Charlton went out of business and has been reusing the images and other public domain material to create a gag comic strip. It had a long run in the late, lamented Comics Buyers Guide and Last Kiss can be found on Go Comics website as well as Lustig's own web page and other places. (March 1962 cover courtesy of the Grand Comics Database.)
Action #122 was on sale when I was born. Adventure #129 was cover-dated June 1948, my birth month.
