The key in your video looks like a Schlage key, which is what opens my front door. Printing "do not duplicate" on a key doesn't work well since it can be defied to sell a duplicate. If it’s a common key everybody has blanks that can be used to make copies. Where I used to live and where I live now, there is a key to get into the swimming pool area. These “do not duplicate” keys are oddly shaped and are not at every place that makes duplicate keys.
This same phenomenon applies to car keys as well. I have heard of instances in which someone mistakenly got into the same make/model car as their own and was able to start the car with his own key.

Inevitably, there will be some duplicates or near-duplicates. Still, to be issued a work key that also works on one's house? I find it a trifle weird.
Many years ago , I ran a section of the L.A. County Registrar of Voters. My section had a single white compact car for our daily trips to a diffent department. Our sister section had six identical cars for their polling place recruitment duties. All of the cars had five-digit small black numbers on a fender. One day our guy came back from the parking lot to report that our car was missing (stolen?). I went down to check. There were a few of the identical cars still there. I had a hunch. The black painted numbers were pretty much consecutive. The number of our car ended in a six. I tried our key on the car that ended in an eight. Sure enough, it unlocked the door. The driver from the other section had innocently taken the wrong car.
I'm tempted by the Jack Davis.... The owners are out of town right now and I have likely trade items, so I might leave it to fate. If it's still there when they return next week, I'll see how much they'll give in trade for any of the items that I have that would be of interest to them and buy it:
We're trying to clear our house of excess! Hmm.... Interesting collection of 8mm movies....

I have had to keep this a secret for the last five years. NOW IT CAN BE TOLD!

A woman I know dyed her hair purple, so I suggested that she could be one of the Moonbase staff from UFO. Fortunately, she was amused.
Bhahahaha!
I'm thrilled with the results.
Awesome.
Nice!
