    • You are not. I thought I had commented on that here, actually.

    • You probably did,  but every week I see that logo on free promotional material on the checkout counter of my LCS and I think, "Oh, there's a new comic book publisher?"... every single time

  • I posted somewhere (maybe here, maybe on Facebook) that the IDW logo is graphic design malpractice.

  • I read in the paper today that Heritage Auctions in Dallas is selling a lot of costumes from the Batman TV show (plus other items such as Kirk & Spock's uniforms, Fonzie's jacket, Jeannie's harem outfit, and Wonder Woman's costume). The headline read: "AYYY! POW! CLASSIC TV TREASURES FOR SALE." Will newspaper editors ever learn that that they're not being original or clever when they do that?

  • I've broken that habit in three newsroom copydesks. Really, all you have to do is point out how old a reference it is. But in this case they're not referring to comics, they're referring to the actual TV sow, so I'd allow it.

    • I know some people don't care for Adam West, but to refer to him as "the actual TV sow" is a bit much, don't you think?

    • Heh-heh-heh...

  • Only one reference to a TV sow in here, but this is some stuff I've been doing lately:

    A small writing event

    The Bruce Peninsula

Assorted other stuff, including a Punk market

    • A "TV Sow"?  "Arnold Ziffel's Big Secret"

  • Local restaurant has hidden bookstore behind secret shelf.

STORY and video (click on picture "Local Arlington bookstore and sandwich shop open in downtown").
