  • ...The Braille edition !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

  • ...I mean , the ADA is REALLY strictly interpreted on 616 (unless you're a " mutie " , natch :-)...........)

  • Matt's sense of touch is such that he can feel the ink on paper and read normal print with his fingertips.  At least, that's how it used to work.

  • That's what I remember. His fingertips can read the text in a book/newspaper, like an optical character reader. I'm not sure how well he could visualize a picture using his fingertips, though.

  • Yeah, I think comics would work differently than text. There's pretty much ink all over the comics page -- not the discrete forms of individual letters.

  • I didn't say it was easy!

  • Maybe Foggy's big into comics and he used the reference around Matt?

  • I love Brian K. Vaughn (he's a genius) and Saga, but here's one not so well known info : the lying cat is a total rip off from George RR Martin short stories about a character called Haviland Tuff.
So maybe Matt had heard the audio book, hence the reference :)

  • I hate to hear that. I love the lying cat!

  • well it's a cruel world :) for me, it doesn't make BKV a less brilliant author.
anyway, if you read SF litterature, try Haviland, it's really worth it.
