Not for a while yet. (Bob is referring to the ghost of Gerard Stiles.) After the "parallel time" arc, the story flashes forward to the year 1995 for two weeks, then returns to the main timeline in the present day. Gerard Stiles first appears as a ghost in 1970 (in episode 1063), then appears in person when the story shifts to the year 1840. after that it shifts to 1840 parallel time! (Just a preview of things to come.)
All this talk about Dark Shadows has inspired Tracy and I begin to begin watching again (and besides, all of our regular shows are currently on hiatus). We started tonight with episode 887 and plan to watch straight through to 980; we estimate it will take us about three months, inserting comments after Rob's old posts as we see fit. It took Rob about six months to get from 887 to 971, so we'll see how it goes. Whoever gets to "Mr. Sneery Face" first wins!

I forget, has Rob reached the Ghost of Sneery-Face yet?

Nope, not sneery-face or his ghost, yet. I look forward to meeting him!

The race to the Face!
Today is the day I cross my own timeline. When I post a reaction to 972, I must take care not to interract with my past self.
Is that Mister Sneery-Face, and Mister Sneery-Face's Brain Case?
This is Mr. Sneery-Face.
The guy on top is Oberon (who, along with Haza) ushered in the Leviathan storyline.
The closest Mr. Sneery-Face ever came to a "Brain Case" is a severed head-in-a-case.
(That's Desmond Collins holding it.)
And if you're not a MSTie, the guy below Oberon is Observer, a.k.a "Brain Guy", from Mystery Science Theater 3000.
