And now I've seen episode 1198, featuring the death of Angelique, when Barnabas finally professes his love for her. He also fights Trask, killing him, and inadvertently trapping him in another band of time. And then the three time travelers walk up Quentin's staircase into 1971, and we see that life is nice and uneventful there. Liz has just found Flora's old journal, and she wants to seek out her novels. And.. it seems like that where we're going to leave the main cast for good. We shift over into Parallel Time, and no one but the dead Trask has traveled over to this other band of 1840.
But it looks like Melanie's father is dying, which means there will be another lottery. Which, from the way everyone is talking about it, seems BAD.
So, onto new adventures with a bunch of people we don't know!
Seriously! And yeah, that dress looks like something from an elementary school.

You know, not exactly out of place in the late sixties/ early seventies. Remember the wallpaper that looked like an acid flashback?
Related story: I was doing some research in a nearby small town once and discovered that the library had a town history scrapbook that had been assembled circa 1971. The background pages into which the various documents had been placed were absolutely wild. Then I realized they had repurposed a wallpaper sample book to use as the archival town scrapbook.

An original graphic novel containing classic characters from the cult television show with supplemental material. Carolyn Stoddard-Hawkes made a deathbed promise to her mother. But, in order for Carolyn to complete the promise, she must rely on the one person in the world she doesn't want to see: Vampire Barnabas Collins.
His return home after an extended period of away sets in motion a chain of events that will change the Collins family forever. Can Carolyn and her cousin David survive the newly awakened Curse of Dark Shadows, or will Barnabas be the end of the family line.

And now I'm watching episode 1199, and Julia is dressed like Grandma's ribbon candy.
I mean, look at this hideous dress.
Still not as bad as this one...
At some point after the show went to color is when you realized that the women were all being costumed by the Sixth Doctor.

"I made it from some old curtains."
I don't know if this is something you DS fans are interested in, but I'm passing it on:
