    Last I heard, his agent is claiming it was an "accident". Off the top of my head, I can only think of one way that you might "accidentally" hang yourself, but I'm not going to go into details.

    That is what I have heard recently as well. If true then it would be a Michael Hutchence situation.

    One of the British tabloids, the Sun, is reporting that it was, basically, a Michael Hutchence situation.
