DC Comics announced today that they will publish a new BEFORE WATCHMEN story that will focus on the character Dollar Bill.
Joining the roster of mini-series that are expanding on the foundation of the original WATCHMEN, this one-shot issue BEFORE WATCHMEN: DOLLAR BILL will be written by Len Wein, current BW: OZYMANDIAS scribe, and illustrated by Kirby and Eisner award winning artist Steve Rude.
BEFORE WATCHMEN: DOLLAR BILL #1 arrives January 30, 2013.

I like the creative team though Dollar Bill is not the character I would have picked to expand on. I would have went with Captain Metropolis or the Silhouette but I haven't really been disappointed yet.
Agreed. Still, Steve Rude art is better than almost all other art.
