Working at KFC in high school was a formative period of my life. I've seen this comic advertised and I'd really like to own an actual paper copy of it, but reading a download doesn't appeal to me.

I think they're trying to make Flash look like the TV version, who has a lot of bells and whistles "enhancing" his costume, including what looks like Iron Man's "spotlight."
