I finally got around to perusing Marvel's solicitations for January. Holy cow! The House of Ideas has a ton of new stuff coming out in the new year. So what are you most looking forward to? The return of Miracleman? George A Romero's Empire of the Living Dead? How about a new Matt Fraction Inhuman series? Maybe a new James Robinson Invaders series? How about the return of the Marvel UK characters in Revolutionary War? Maybe a Phil Noto Black Widow series? Or a relaunch of Peter David's X-Factor?

All of the above! Can't wait.
Oh, I'm casually interested in the Peter David's X-Factor. I don't know how the series ended yet.
And the Matt Fraction Inhuman's series interests me. But only half and half.
Since I've read so much about Miracleman I'm tempted to give it a try and see what all the hoopla's about.
New Invaders series, of course!
X-FACTOR: possibly but only because it's Peter David. They call Quicksilver Polaris' half-brother. Is that the truth now? Is she really Magneto's daughter?
AVENGERS TITLES: There are TOO MANY Avengers titles!!
INHUMAN: probably not though definitely the Medusa one-shot.
BLACK WIDOW: Is it time for another attempt by Marvel to promote the Widow as a solo act? Already? Less than year, a year tops.
MARVEL UK: I guess they have to renew the copyrights.
THE INVADERS: Definitely. I guess the Original Human Torch is back...again (and again...and again...) Where's Toro? And when will they bring back Union Jack as he was in his last mini-series? That was great!
MIRACLEMAN: A milestone work, well worth reprinting. It's something that everyone should read. However, it's still just a reprint. If Marvel is serious about Miracleman, put him in the Avengers!
Maybe... well maybe She-Hulk but Slott's run ruined a lot of character for me. Other than that I'm doing my best to ignore marvel.
Wow, a new Miracleman series? I'm definitely in for that! (Or is it a reprint?)
A Matt Fraction Inhumans series appeals to me as well, as does a James Robinson Invaders series.
Aside to Philip: The original Human Torch has been back for a couple a years now. He was prominently featured in 2010's Invaders, Now!, but hasn't (to my knowledge) been seen since.
When did the Martian Manhunter move to the Marvel universe?
How many Captain America's are there in the mu?
...Yeah , that Miracle-/Marvelman reprint is apparently a reprint of both Moore's version - with , get this , Marvel apparently soothing Alan's bruised sensitivities by , at least in the publicity , crediting it as simply by " The Original Writer " !!!!!!!!!!! - and Mick Anglo's original origin (which was B&W too , remember) .
I guess it is just a reprint of the brief - 8/10-page - origin of that version of MM from WARRIOR #1 - Colorized ? - , which , oddly enough , I bought as a back issue about the early 90s though I've had little exposure to the Moore'd MM otherwise .
When Marvel did some reprinting of Anglo's version a couple years back I expressed fondness for the material I saw (In that comics-format MIRACLEMAN CLASSICS , not the HCs .) , which even MSA was fairly unenthusiastic about , IIRC !

Different strokes I guess. I thought Slott's run was excellent.
