We've lost one of the true legends today. He was one of the first artists I recognized without reading the credits.
Just did this clean-up a few weeks back, seems appropriate to post a link to it here. My 1st Kubert "restoration".

RIP Mr. Kubert. A great and distinctive artist, and as said by Kurt Busiek, instantly recognizable, and a great fit for any genre he drew. His Sgt. Rock work in Wednesday Comics and a miniseries a few years ago was powerful. I have always liked his version of Hawkman best.
Shocking. Lost one of the Greats. My condolences to family.
If this is true, the comic book industry has lost one of its pioneers. His career spanned from the Golden Age to today.
