Bill Mumy has posted on Facebook that Mark Goddard has passed away. I know that he did a lot of other things, but I (as I suspect is true of many of us) remember him best as Major Don West on Lost in Space.

When the original Lost in Space was broadcast I was 17, then working, then in the Army. I’ve only recently been watching it for the first time on Prime. I’m part-way into season 2 (not bingeing). It was a fun show, even though he and the others had little control. It and Leave it to Beaver (on Peacock) are relaxing just before going to bed.
Stick with it. season two is silly but season three is better (although not as good as the first season).
