That wasn't directed at you, I was just sayin'.
I didn't watch Tarzan. I only saw him in Doc Savage. I see he did a lot in addition to that.
I remember MAD's parody, "TVarzan," quite well. In it, Tarzan spoke with an explorer how he ditched Jane and brushed up on his English.
"I say, old chap, you speak English as well as me!"
"Wrong twice. That's 'as well as I,' and I happen to speak better than you."
In a scene with a native chieftain...
"The iron tooth shall tell the truth."
"You mean that knife with decide on life?"
"One more poem and I go home."
The TV show was syndicated in my market, but I didn't care much for it.
