...the Marvelettes , " Some Day Some Way " .

..." Glass Tiger , " Someday " .

...Nu Shooz , " I Can't Wait " . Sorta robot dancing ( THAT hyphenable ??????????? pop- locking ( I think that's a hyphen one . ) to it as I sit here at you key'bd !!!!!!!!!!! :-) )

...Perry Como , " The Best of Times " .

...Skeeter Davis , " I Can't Stay Mad At You " .

  A contendor for my list of favorite - " 45 , Top 40/45 RPM era " , anyway - sides , EVER .

..." Keep The Ball Rolling " , Jay and the Techniques .

Not the lyrical meaning of this ? How it got an AM radio at the time...

As I recall, it was VERY popular among the girls in Phys. Ed class....they would routinely "work out" to it, rolling or passing the ball in the circle to the beat of the song.

The one I can't believe ever got on the radio was "Keep On Rockin' Me Baby" by Steve Miller Band. How thinly veiled can you get???

"Only You (Can Break My Heart)" Buck Owens

I find I keep hearing "Stars on 45"...the Beatles medley this last week  on the oldies radio station I frequent.

It occurred to me that it was just the forerunner of the most recent Beatles album released ... "Beatles: Love"  where the master tapes were taken, shuffled, re-edited and blended not only to match the beat, but also the signature key...and as a result, you have a album of Beatles medleys.

"Stranger Blues" by Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee

"God Only Knows" by the Beach Boys a few moments ago

and now

"Praise You" by Fatboy Slim
