Ok, how about this for an idea. We take it in turns to post a favourite (British spelling) comic cover every day. This went really well on the comic fan website that I used to frequent. What we tried to do was find a theme or subject and follow that, until we all got bored with that theme. I'd like to propose a theme of letters of the alphabet. So, for the remainder of October (only 5 days) and all of November, we post comic cover pictures associated with the letter "A". Then in December, we post covers pertaining to the letter "B". The association to the letter can be as tenuous as you want it to be. For example I could post a cover from "Adventure Comics" or "Amazing Spider Man". However Spider Man covers can also be posted when we're on the letter "S". Adventure Comic covers could also be posted when we're on the letter "L" if they depict the Legion of Super Heroes. So, no real hard, fast rules - in fact the cleverer the interpretation of the letter, the better, as far as I'm concerned.
And it's not written in stone that we have to post a cover every day. There may be some days when no cover gets posted. There's nothing wrong with this, it just demonstrates that we all have lives to lead.

Nothing exemplified shoert runs than the brief span of Atlas Comics! The Destructor lasted four issues!

Daredevil #16. John Romita had been drawing DD and this was Stan's sneaky way of trying him out on Spider-Man, since it was obvious to him that Ditko was going to leave.
One of Romita's best covers. It is no wonder Stan made him the regular Spidey artist soon after.
Little Audrey had a number of long-run series from St. John and Harvey, however this one lasted only one issue.

World of Krypton, 3 issues
Angel Love ran for 8 issues from August 1986 to March 1987.
I vividly remember getting Man-Bat #2 (Ma'76), never seeing #1, where the Night Flyer tangled with the awesome menace of ...the Ten-Eyed Man but it was confirmed in the letters page that it was the last issue! There's no way that they had accurate sale numbers! I've heard that it was because DC believed that the Monster Fad was fading which was probably true, not that DC really got into it!
After adapting the movie, Jack Kirby did ten issues of stories expanding beyond the original concepts of 2001: A Space Odyssey, with the last three begetting the character that would become Machine Man.
