What I found tragic is that the union was "fighting" for their members' future and cost them their jobs, like saving your TV while your house burns down. And that some guy who hasn't been with the company for a year shuts everything down to prove his authority, while he gets paid in full and probably will get a bonus somewhere down the line.

One of the strikers was commenting on TV that the last time the workers agreed to a pay cut the money went into the pockets of upper management instead of shoring up the company. I think we will see the brand names and popular products snapped up by others with perhaps a slight gap in production.
