Maybe I should have just created a generic "stuff I won from the Vertigo: Graphic Content blog" thread. I just won another hardcover book, the first American Vampire collection. I had already read a library copy, but it will be nice to have one of my own. I had to actually come up with an Easter egg from the series to win this one.

Nice! I saw that contest, but never dug through my issues to find an Easter egg.
Thanks, everyone. I guess they intended this contest for readers of the monthlies who hadn't bought the hardcover yet...I kind of cheated by reading the collection via the library. It did take a little thought to find the Easter egg, so I feel like I earned this one!
Congratulations. It's strange to me that the competition to win the book was open only to those that had already read its contents, but it came out good in the end, anyhow!
I just finished the first volume today. What was the easter egg?
What did you think of the series? Did you review it in your Mr. Vertigo thread? I did a quick check but didn't see one.
