Something about this week's books...I dunno; I've had them since Wednesday and I'm just not feeling the drive to read them. I've made it halfway through my stack so far:
Amazing Spider-Man #688— The Lizard story starts. I'm not keen on this whole "The Lizard eats people" direction they've taken the character in...
Flash #10— Fell asleep halfway through the book last night. It might be because I'm not getting Francis Manapul's art this time, but I wasn't feeling this issue as much as previous ones. Also, it felt like I'd missed an issue.
Spider-Men #2— The Spider-Men fighting made no sense to me (except insofar as their Bendis Dialogue™ made them incapable of communicating a coherent thought to each other), and for being 40% through the story surprisingly little has happened, but if I don't think about it too much, I'm getting a kick out of it.
Wolverine and the X-Men #12— This issue actually left me feeling a little down, watching the X-Men fight each other. I just want my happy Jean Grey's School back...

It worked well for Walking Dead.
Yeah, the Image strategy seems to be to put the trade out the same week as the subsequent issue. Which is pretty wonderful, in my opinion.

As for Batman Inc. post-Flashpoint, I really can't say. Even with all the 'assurances' that it's still basically the same comic as pre-Flashpoint, other than the few changes to the background story to make it fit in the "New 52", I remain apprehensively skeptical. I may modify this outlook IF they continue with the "a Batman in every city" concept.

ALL STAR WESTERN #10 I've been getting caught up on this over the past few days. Having a lot of fun doing it, too. Jonah Hex: You can't quite root for him, but you definitely won't root against him.
AQUAMAN #10 If I don't get caught up on this (or interested enough to do so) this week, then this one is on the chopping block.
BART SIMPSON COMICS #72 Predictable fun. Always great.
BATMAN INCORPORATED #2 Ouch...this is a Grant Morrison comic and I still haven't read #1. I have it in my stack, just haven't read it yet. I'm a fan of the writer and the artist. How is this possible?
BEFORE WATCHMEN NITE OWL #1 (OF 4) (MR) Well, both Minutemen and Silk Spectre have convinced me to give this one a shot as well. You can't argue with an art team full of Kuberts.
BPRD HELL ON EARTH EXORCISM #1 (OF 2) And with these 1, 2, and 3-issue stories from BPRD, you can bet I will try them all as long as they're of the current quality levels. Art and writing are always superb and understated on these books. Love them.
FLASH #10 The art keeps this safe from the chopping block, but the truth is that I haven't read this one in a few months either. I just need to save a couple hours to plow through some Flash issues.

PROPHET #26 I love how odd this book is. I don't get why I like it, but I do. It's just so different.
SAVAGE HAWKMAN #10 The previous issue of this did not suck. And the art was awesome.
