Curious to know what everyone thinks about this revelation for Amazing Spider-Man 2.
I think you can get a much more entertaining story with Kraven or a Kraven/Chameleon team. Just saying.

Does anyone remember the Will Smith-as-Robin rumor? Or the Wesley Snipes-as-the-Black-Panther movie? Even Eddie Murphy in a Star Trek film?
Could Foxx play Electro? Sure. But most big name black actors don't want to be the villain. But how about Jamie Fox as the Falcon?
Foxx tweeted on Halloween that he was dressed as Electro.
I don't mind Electro, and i don't have an issue with Jamie Foxx playing him. I just don't want Electro...and the Chameleon...and the Vulture...and the Looter...and the Gibbon...etc, etc. One villain will be more than enough.
Thinking about it, the original Scorpion story would be a pretty good movie.

Well, Electro doesn't wear the original Electro costume in the comics. Plus, it would look ridiculous on screen.
