I have to agree with the Bufkin in Oz storyline in Fables; it reads like backup story material.
DAREDEVIL #8 - Got sick of hearing from eveyone how good it was. Started from 7, so I'll have to get the first trade sometime. Annoyed I'll have to get last weeks Spider-man though.

Trade waits as usual. I'm sorry to hear that Fables is losing its luster for some of you monthly readers. Makes me apprehensive about the trades! I stopped buying the trades after the Great Fables Crossover, which was the low point in the series until then. There's no financial risk in waiting for the library copy, but I've still been looking forward to it.

Daredevil (and last week's Spider-Man). Not crazy about this rash of Daredevil crossovers I've been hearing about, but so far the writers involved are good (Waid alone for this one, Waid & Rucka for the upcoming Punisher/Spider-Man crossover). But as great as Daredevil is, it's on a short leash because of this stuff. I'm very worried about quality control for this spectacular book.
I'm on the other end. I've been debating jumping aboard Daredevil via single issues or waiting for the trade but the crossovers make me more likely to go the former route as I'll be buying the Spider-Man half of the story anyway.
Fables: I really want the Bufkin in Oz story to dovetail with the rest soon -- I feel like we're not getting enough of either for a satisfying comic.
Anacoqui hasn't been enjoying the Bufkin storyline either. I think she's getting ready to dump Fables after the superhero story and this.
Some really nice New 52 books: Batman & Wonder Woman are the standout icon books (along with Action), and Birds of Prey and Red Hood have really impressed me; I'm glad I took a chance on these books I expected to really dislike. And this is the Walt Simonson issue of Legion, right? So that'll be a real highlight.

In addition, I dropped Green Lantern Corps and Nightwing. GLC wasn't awful, but it wasn't good enough to stay on the pull list considering all of the other comics that are better.
Plus, a Steed and Mrs. Peel comic sounds interesting so I may look at a shelf copy of that.
