  • Settle down, Beavis.

  • ...What about SNARF , CRACK , and (not that there's anything - :-)) GAY COMICS ???!!??!!??????????????

  • George and Mark...let's keep everything polite and family friendly.  Just a quiet warning.

  • Just ACTION COMICS #7 for me.

  • DARK HORSE COMICS

Hellboy Volume 12 The Storm And The Fury TP, $19.99

    DC COMICS

    Animal Man #7, $2.99
Fairest #1 (Adam Hughes Regular Cover), $2.99
    I Zombie #23, $2.99
Swamp Thing #7 (Yanick Paquette Regular Cover), $2.99
    Sweet Tooth #31, $2.99

    IMAGE COMICS

    Fatale #3, $3.50

Trade waits...except for the Hellboy trade, of course, but I'll be using the library for that.

  • Action -- and now back to our regularly scheduled program.

Batwing (I don't see it on this list, but I see it on the one at the Savage Critic website.)

Men of War -- two done-in-one stories, one of which is written by James Robinson. I'm really looking forward to this.

OMAC The first half of the final 40 pages of this series... sniff!

Swamp Thing -- The end of the first arc! Or at least the first trade!

Fairest -- I think I might be in for the first arc, and then move on to trades.

Fatale -- Like every Bru/Phillips project, I adore this.

Night Force -- been expecting this book to come out for at least a year now, so I'm psyched it's finally here!

  • Ultimate Comics Spider-Man has been good, if a bit slow-moving.

    Slow moving? That's shocking....

  • FAIREST #1

    FATALE #3

    IZOMBIE #23

STAR WARS CRIMSON EMPIRE 3 EMPIRE LOST #5 of 6

VILLAINS FOR HIRE #4 (OF 4)

    WINTER SOLDIER #3

  • The girls have recently really gotten into Simpsons comics and they aren't even allowed to watch the show...maybe that's the attraction.  ;)  They also like SpongeBob, Jughead, and Adventure Time.  Rose is interested in the new Green Lantern comic based on the cartoon starting this Saturday on Cartoon Network.  They asked me to order the new Popeye comic.  They've discovered my Calvin and Hobbes and Mutts collections and are going through them.  The Tiny Titans team will be back in May with the new, ongoing Superman family comic.

    For me this week...

Amazing Spider-Man...I love a good Torch-Spidey-John Jameson team-up and this one started great.

I'm buying Fairest, primarily for the writers coming after Bill W.

Ultimate Comics Spider-Man has been good, if a bit slow-moving.

With the addition of Sholly Fisch to the Action writer line-up, I'm back on board.  I like the alternative Superman stories coming...especially President Superman.

I'm still enjoying iZombie a lot.

  • You're too fast, Pete.  I still haven't picked up my February comics yet.

    Amazing Spider-Man 681

    Avengers Academy 27

    Avengers Children's Crusade 9

    Fairest 1

    iZombie 23

    Manhattan Projects 1

    Star Wars Crimson Empire 5

    Uncanny X-Men 8

    Winter Soldier 3

    Wolverine 302

    Wolverine & X-Men Alpha & Omega 3

    X-Club 4

    X-Men 26

    And a few miscellaneous comments

I'm a huge fan of the original Age of Apocalypse- it's the story that brought me back to comics as an adult- but the soft launch via Uncanny X-Force (the recent point one issue featured the new AoA) convinced me that I wasn't interested in this newest iteration.

I may pick up the new Toy Story mini-series.  With the cancellation of Tiny Titans, I'm on the lookout for new kids comics.
