Our friend Mark Pennington passed away 11 years ago today. Obviously you newer members don't remember Mark - but he was my friend and a terrific person. He was great and I miss him to this day.

Did he pass away? I hadn't heard.
I don't know for certain, but he was never in the best of health, frequently in and out of the hospital, and the last time he posted was December 2019.
I'm not certain about Richard Mantle, either, but I've sent him PMs and posted to his last big discussion in case he had notifications set. Also, in his very last post he said he was feeling "symptomatic."

Wow, hard to believe it has been 11 years.
Eleven years! Time really flies by. I never met Mark, but used to enjoy his posts. I almost met him once: he had a job interview in Charlotte, but declared the place to be way too hot!
Rest in peace, Mark. We miss you.
