"Not sure what to think of this.
Unlike Travis Herrick, I don'y know how we should have seen it coming, unless "it" has something to do with the damage to just about everything caused by the pandemic.
Could it have something to do with…"
"I suspect discrepancies such as this will persist for quite some time.
Incidentally, a collection titled Atlas at War (collecting stories from Marvel's "Atlas" era) was solicited for June 17 release. When it will actually ship is…"
"Diamond's site still lists June 3 for DC Goest to War. Bleeding Cool has an article about delayed books, putting DC Goes to War on June 9 -- but it also has several books listed as late that weren't."
"I always assumed it was trademark reasons, Randy, but I don't know that for a fact.
Two other minor names DC keeps resurrecting are Huntress and Manhunter. Neither has as many uses as Starman, but they're up there."
"DC GOES TO WAR: This did NOT ship to my LCS today, despite the fact that the listing I posted above is from my store’s web-site which is fed directly from Diamond. The owner checked and it’s not on next week’s invoice, either. His…"
"That's one of the scenes I remember from some book where I saw this scene described, and the original pencils shown, with white out erasing the Rod here and there, but not--obviously--everywhere. I'm guessing it was in All-Star Companion.…"
"I don't have Jeff's excuse, Philip, for forgetting so much. Thanks for plugging in the gaps/mistakes in my memory!
Fox wrote the Starman strip? I guess it doesn't surprise me, given how dull I found his All-Star stories. Seriously,…"
"Thanks, Jeff. Except that I don't know Our Army at War #67 from Our Army at War #167! So I don't know what's in those books. War comics are a huge gap in my comics knowledge, because I really never cared for them when I was younger.…"

"Nice summary of both Starman and your relationship to him, Jeff. Interesting to read.
My relationship is a bit more straightforward; I was introduced to the character in the early JLA/JSA crossovers, then the B&B team-ups with Black Canary…"
"I saw that too -- and a similar article on Bleeding Cool. I've got those issues too, but so far I haven't been able to find anything that indicates that the Giants are going away completely, or just from comics shops. "
Cap, a slight correction to your "Reprint Wishes" in CBG #1680. It was the Armorines that wore "Iron Man-type armor." The bodies of the H.A.R.D. Corps members were implanted with technology that would allow them to utilize one Harbinger power (such as strength or invulnerability) at a time. H.A.R.D. Corps #4 was my first Valiant book.
