Luke Blanchard replied to Captain Comics's discussion This Week in Comics: May 10-16, 2021
"That's a very nice cover. The net tells me it was by John Cebollero, pencils and inks, and Dave Stewart, colours and separations. Cebollero's art has the quality of Brian Bolland's. Stewart's colours add to the impact."

"Looking at the cover of TOS #76, you'd never expect the girl-next-door on the cover to kill Batroc in cold blood. Kazakhstan seems like a former Soviet country that has escaped negative influences, and has actually helped the U.S. and…"

"The GCPD must have the most disciplined police officers in the country. "He went for his waistband, Sarge" I remember the big deal they made when Azrael/Jean-Paul Valley temporarily took over as Batman. He watched the low-level bad…"

"I forgot about Sharon being Peggy's sister, Fred -- I knew Sharon's relationship to Peggy had changed over time, but I bollixed the particulars. Thanks for correcting the record. Sharon first appeared in Tales of Suspense #75 in 1966, so…"

Captain Comics replied to Captain Comics's discussion 'The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' is over, but the story isn't
"There's no doubt a Fantastic Four reboot is coming, but so far it's not part of Phase 4. Weirdly, Blade didn't get any mention in the video below either, leading to speculation that it will also hold to Phase 5. Don't ask me, I…"

Captain Comics replied to Captain Comics's discussion If you've got questions about 'Jupiter's Legacy,' we've got answers
"It can get confusing, especially in the trades. Since the first two miniseries, Jupiter's Legacy and Jupiter's Legacy 2, take place in the present, and the second two miniseries, Jupiter's Circle and Jupiter's Circle 2, take…"

Philip Portelli replied to Captain Comics's discussion If you've got questions about 'Jupiter's Legacy,' we've got answers
"I have the four Jupiter's Legacy/Circle series and The Magic Order. Perhaps I should read them more carefully. I thought that they were in the same vein as Mark Waid's Irredeemable and Incorruptible books."

Captain Comics replied to Captain Comics's discussion This Week in Comics: May 10-16, 2021

"I had that Doom poster, Luke -- and all the other posters offered by F.O.O.M. at the time. I hung them on my bedroom wall and, sadly, gravity eventually destroyed them. I noticed the cover "lift" from FF #84 as well -- it was a mid-story…"

Cap, a slight correction to your "Reprint Wishes" in CBG #1680. It was the Armorines that wore "Iron Man-type armor." The bodies of the H.A.R.D. Corps members were implanted with technology that would allow them to utilize one Harbinger power (such as strength or invulnerability) at a time. H.A.R.D. Corps #4 was my first Valiant book.
